what superpower would dmitri, kiri, ambrose, and mal want to have?

dmitri and kiri. already have magic/the force which is basically superpowers. dmitri would love having mind control. he has no moral compass and loves giving orders. kiri would want maybe like some sort of barrier/shield creation, something that she could use to protect others.

ambrose is very wary of magic/powers and the like, given what he’s seen with tancy. i think if he had to, he’d want something where he can tell if someone’s lying/force them to tell the truth. it’d be useful for his profession and also he’s. very paranoid about being lied to.

ive talked about mal before ill rb the post rn and link it when i get home. i think i said he’d want like teleportation or something.

what do ambrose and tancy like on their burgers

ambrose sticks w the classics, cheese lettuce tomato pickles onions but he HATES mustard and mayo (ketchup is fine). the best part of the meals def the fries tho and hes a serial fry stealer and if u say any thing about it he looks u dead in the eyes and pulls aside his jacket so u can see the glock hes got tucked in his waistband while he chews on the fries he stole from u

tancys orders a double double, animal style and fries with mustard. she doesnt even like fries but she orders them anyway so she can force ambrose to pick through the mustard to eat the clean ones

tancy and ambrose get into a fistfight who wins

tancy has a lot of raw power and ferocity and her strikes are very fast. ambrose has taken his fair share of punches, however, so hes more likely to withstand what she can throw. if its a generalized brawl her legs are very strong so her kicks can pack a lot but if its fists only she loses that advantage. ambrose has to be careful about his face getting hit; he cant take his glasses off because then he cant see anything but its gonna be a real mess if she punches him and they break or slam into his face. ambrose is gonna be better with following through on his combinations and responding to attacks; tancy’s wild unchained fighting style is going to leave her offbalance for a few seconds after each combination and ambrose knows how to take advantage of that. if the fight gets onto the floor thats going to change things; the top is an advantageous position for tancy for the most part, but unless she’s able to get a really good hold on ambrose it’s going to be very easy for him to push her off and either stand back up or get on top of her. she needs to really use the couple of seconds where shes in control to land some really good hits and win before ambrose can get on top, because after that its pretty much over. hes just too heavy for her to push him off if he’s got her. that being said its so unlikely that hed be the one to take it down in the first place, so tancy’s best bet would be to get him down, get on top of him and land some good ones, then stand back up before he can flip her and keep her legs clear of him. ambrose is trained in hand to hand combat but only nonlethal. i think hed be able to knock her out with only some difficulty, but if it were a deathmatch her brutality and strength would come through in the end.

how have the twins been doing with individuality throughout their lives? what aspects of personality do their share, are there many opposites? a wide circle of friends or 'only you and i against the world'?

theyve definitely gotten better since they were kids. just as like. part of their personalities both of them are really introverted and prefer to be pretty private, dont like talking about themselves, and then growing up they were the only nonhuman kids in a majority human area and depending on whether or not skin color racism exists in pf, the only fantasy-brown kids in a fantasy-white majority area. and even if the other kids didnt. mind there was definitely still that feeling of being. other.

ambrose acted as tancys interpreter for like pretty much all of like fantasy primary/grade school and as they got older their parents wanted both of them but ambrose especially to branch out and develop their own identities, because hed been spending like most of his life tagging along in her back seat, so they hired someone to work with her. in the end it was. good for both of them ambrose had a pretty solid small group of friends by the time he graduated fantasy high school (can u believe theres NO information at all on the internet regarding whether the pf universe has anything resembling an education system) while tancy was bffs with this one girl for like. a decade.

theyve got their share of differences, definitely. ambrose is very. idk goal oriented? he loves 5 year plans, to-do lists, methodical approaches to things. he sits down to do something and he gets it done. tancy is definitely more creative than him, but she doesnt really care for nitty-grittys. sometimes inspiration really strikes her, and she’ll be really productive, but it’s definitely not reliable.

both of them are very business-savvy, wide circles of acquaintances. close friends are kind of scarce tho; ambrose doesnt believe in work friends and given the attitude most ppl have towards politicans in andoran he doesnt feel totally welcome in general public pubs and the like. tancy’s doing a bit better, she hangs out w the other psychics and fortune tellers a lot, but she feels like a lot of them treat her as if she’s dangerous.

theyre both trans and they both transitioned around the same time (tancy came out first but ambrose thinks he knew longer)

tancy has a ton of ear piercings but shes only ever wearing like two or three at a time. ambrose did her first one when they were teenagers with a needle and a potato.

their mom is human, w bonuwat mwangi ancestry and their dad is an elf. they lufv each other and so do their families

theyre from augustana, andoran (aorn but depending on how the background system works ingame i could. be persuaded to change)

ambrose has one ex. only one hes only ever dated one guy and its the guy who runs one of the two glasses shops in augustana and the other one is obscenely far away and he breaks his glasses a lot so every time he HAS to go to the shop and see his ex and its always really awkward and horrible

the twins are in their like early 30s

ambrose was on city council in augustana. joined when he was 23 making him the youngest ever member elected mom and dad were SO proud and it was the first thing they’d bring up whenever they talked to someone for two months afterwards

tancy is an oracle and her mystery is apocalypse. she never really. developed her powers and they werent even recognized for what they were until she was an adult. on a minor scale, she can predict bad things happening to ppl. she mostly keeps them to herself bcos there isnt really a way to change them and ppl always get upset if u just walk up to them and say “youre going to stub your toe today and its going to hurt like a motherfucker” but she’ll always tell you everything she senses for you if you ask. sometimes she’ll sort of hint at something, like if a friend has a really sick grandfather and she can tell that hes going to die the day after, she might sign “have you spoken with your grandfather today?” as like a subtle thing. in augustana’s psychic/fortune teller circles her nickname is the naysayer.

its a running/inside joke between them about whos more elvish and whenever one of them makes a really innocent run of the mill comment like “oh man i love this cornbread” the other will reply “typical human”

ambrose has to gel tancy’s babyhairs for her because she hates doing it

wrt weapons, ambrose uses a sword cane and tancy uses a brass knife (along with, like, you know, magic)
