I don't understand how people are posting things that are so plainly conspiratorial.

I came into this space largely because the needle moved so far in trans issues that even the nomenclature TRAs originally invented, sex vs gender, female vs woman, was considered offensive to the same crowd. I came into it because I saw that 'transwomen' as I got to know more and more of them still exhibited all of the problems of men. I came into it because even extremely delicately saying so and so *may* retain some misogyny from male socialization was enough for a ban hammer, in an era where to be a trans woman you don't even need to take HRT or cross dress and there are 'butch lesbians' who present entirely male that we can't say have male privileges or experienced male socialization.

But mostly the thing is people who were reasonable, and could see these things but still accepted trans individuals...started to not be able to see these things and trust the word 'TERF' as an immediate shout down they didn't want to be associated with.

It is a shame to see that same thing happen in this space but with women doggedly he/himing someone who was raised their entire life as a girl, who if they have committed a wrong has only done so by continuing to take advantage of an unfair advantage they have but whose birth defects are not inherently worthy of shame or derision. And in doing so these people are actually reinforcing many of the harmful myths perpetuated by trans rights activists about body parts and puberty of DSD individuals.
