“We can’t help much in here,” The River Lord pointed out, and stilled obediently when Ratana pressed a hand to his shoulder and the other to his side. She focused her magic on burning the iron out of his blood and he moaned, low in his throat. “Tell my warriors what you told me. If we can help, we will.”

“I know, and I will,” Oriel said, and curled her fingers into his, giving what little comfort she could during the painful process. “I think I’ve convinced him to keep you alive, but you may not thank me for that.”

“We expected torture,” he told her quietly and gave her hand a little squeeze. His eyes behind his visor glowed amber. He winced when the bolt came out of his thigh, and raised his hand to Oriel’s cheek to brush over the bruise there. “Your king give you that because of us?”

“I earned it on my own,” Oriel corrected him with a wry smile. He chuckled faintly, but there was approval in his eyes. His Kalman had gotten quite a bit better since the fight in the nursery. Another trick for the king, maybe. “Be as quiet as you can. My father’s torturer likes a victim who makes his games interesting.”

Buncha Friendships

Yeah so, I completely forgot to showcase some friendships. They're kinda boring (and sorta annoying) to post bc as you can see they happen quite frequently. Like everytime I open the game. Let's see how these turned out.

9 out of the 11 friendship requests actually ended in a friendship. I though Leah and Diego would've bonded over being rejected by Sylvie but oh well. Also, I find the Archie friendship request w/ Diego to be funny bc before he asked to be friends w/ him, they straight up had a dream with him.

Like bro had that dream, woke up, and was like "I need to be friends with Diego right now!!"

Also. Zuri asking to be friends with Shay is hilarious considering what girlie said in the Quirky Questions. I feel like she'd be a sorta two faced friend who talks shit about Shay behind her back.
