Rana Daggubati unveils official Telugu trailer of Prime Video’s thriller series Snakes and Ladders

Baahubali fame actor Rana Daggubati, renowned for his powerful performances, took to social media to share his excitement as he unveiled the official Telugu trailer of the Original series, Snakes & Ladders, an upcoming dark humor thriller series set to premiere worldwide on Prime Video on October 18.

Curated by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kalyan Subramanian (A Stone Bench Production), the Tamil Original series is created by Kamala Alchemis and Dhivakar Kamal, and directed by Ashok Veerappan, Bharath Muralidharan, and Kamala Alchemis.

The nine-episode series features Naveen Chandra, Nandha, Manoj Bharathiraja, Muthukumar, Srinda, Sreejith Ravi, Samrith, Surya Ragaveshwar, Suryakumar, Tarun, and Sasha Bharen in pivotal roles. The show follows a gripping narrative where danger lurks at every turn, much like the classic game it draws inspiration from.

The actor captioned his social media post, saying, “DANGER awaits at every step. Ee Vaikuntapaali aata chudadaniki meeru siddhama? (are you ready to watch this Snakes & Ladders game) Trailer Out Now." With its intense storyline and thrilling suspense, Snakes & Ladders is already building buzz as one of the most anticipated releases of the season.

The first dark-humour thriller series in Tamil from Prime Video, Snakes & Ladders, will be exclusively available on the service in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide from October 18 in Tamil, with dubs in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

In The Boys spin-off Gen V, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Asa Germann discuss their superpowers and jaw-dropping antics.

The first four episodes of the spinoff are now available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes launching every Friday until the series finale on November 3.

The first four episodes of The Boys spin-off drama, Gen V, premiered on Prime Video to fantastic reviews from critics, viewers, and fans of The Boys series, who are enthralled by Gen V's wicked badassery. The universe is expanded to Godolkin University, where the ensemble cast encounters dramatic events amid their supe-style power struggles and never-ending partying. With the race to join The Seven looming over their heads, the stakes are higher as the kids compete for popularity and excellent grades. Gen V has increased the blood, gore, and exhilarating action to match the intensity of its predecessor! The major performers have spoken up about their characters' diverse abilities and the training that went into them. "Sam is really, really strong," said actor Asa Germann, who plays the character. Basically, if a regular Supe punches someone and breaks their arm, when Sam punches someone, they explode. He can also jump very high and become quite agitated. The show has a lot of amazing scenes." Despite having a decent heart, Germann is troubled by hallucinations, which make it difficult for him to distinguish between what is and is not reality. "Stunt training is insane," he continues. I'm not athletic; in fact, I'm the most uncoordinated person on the earth. It's been quite difficult. We have a fantastic stunt team here that are training us. I've never worked on a project where you truly play as a badass superhero who needs to know how to screw up a number of people in a short amount of time!" Patrick Schwarzenegger also explains why his superpower figure is ranked first: "Golden Boy's power is that he can light on fire." He has flames, but he's also tremendously strong, and I believe he's stronger than almost everyone at the school, as evidenced by some of his combat talents. He's powerful. He sets himself on fire. He's simply capable of kicking everyone else's ass, which is why he's number one." Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi star in the series. Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter make appearances, as do Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and P.J. Byrne, who reprise their roles from The Boys. The first look at The Boys season 4 focuses on Butcher and Homelander, as well as the upcoming election day.

The Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television series will launch in 2024. Following the spectacular season finale of Gen V, where fans got to see Butcher and Homelander's surprise cameos, Prime Video has unveiled first-look teaser art of Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, and Homelander, played by Antony Starr, from the upcoming Season Four of The Boys. The global smash series, which has received Emmy nominations, will return in 2024.

The Boys is a lighthearted and satirical look at what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as powerful as politicians, and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather of using them for good. The Boys, a squad of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar business that manages the superheroes and conceals their dirty secrets. It appears to be powerless in the face of the all-powerful. The Boys is based on the New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and was created by Eric Kripke, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Executive producers include Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, and Michaela Starr. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television are producing The Boys, along with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.

Collin D'Cunha, the director of Call Me Bae, describes Ananya Panday as "one of the most hardworking actors I have ever worked with."

Director Collin D'Cunha must have struggled to juggle Call Me Bae's various tracks and episodes, as well as its large ensemble. He confessed as much, stating, "The long format shows are tough in their own way! However, as a director, it's tremendously rewarding to be able to explore multiple tracks and collaborate with an ensemble cast that brings the characters to life. I have to thank my HODs for making this a smooth trip with little hiccups because we were all working together toward a same creative goal. Thanks to our casting director, Panchami Ghavri, we were able to go through several rounds of tryouts. I was always certain that I wanted each character to be distinct from the others. For example, after we cast Agastya (Vihaan Samat), I realized I wanted Neel (Gurfateh Pirzada) to be diametrically opposed in every manner. So, even if they weren't my first choice, they were all my favorites!"

Collin felt confident Ananya Pandey could handle the demanding role. "I was certain that she would be able to pull off this role. She is one of the hardest working actresses I've ever worked with. She knew the entire screenplay word for word, not just her dialogues. She took on the character of Bae and exceeded my expectations. This character's arc is what initially drew me to the program. We live in the social media age, where someone may go viral overnight. But what makes Bae interesting is how she uses her celebrity to empower others," he explained.

Colin has gained valuable insights from his Bae Journey. "It's been an extremely fulfilling journey to work with very driven, likeminded creative people like my writers Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, Rohit Nair and Somen Mishra," according to him. "I feel really fortunate to be able to make my debut with a series starring Ananya Panday and with the full support of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and the Amazon team. It's a genuine 'pinch me' moment. We all hope that this season is well-received and successful! And I'm extremely eager in seeing where Bae's path takes her next. I co-directed a series, which was produced by Dharmatic and Amazon Prime. I'm excited for it to be released sometime next year."

Merry Little Batman, produced by Warner Bros. Animation and based on DC characters, stars Yonas Kibreab, Luke Wilson, James Cromwell, and David Hornsby and is directed by Mike Roth (Regular Show) from a screenplay by Morgan Evans (Teen Titans Go!) and Jase Ricci (Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham). Roth, along with Sam Register (Looney Tunes cartoons), acts as executive producer.
