Colosseum An original watercolour painted on a sheet of handmade watercolour paper from the Amalfi paper mill, Italy. I was give several sheets of rejected paper that were torn, very much imperfect. However they suited the subject matter, complimenting the ruined, crumbling architecture. The painting hangs in our bathroom against travertine tiles.
