ALTR 122139 aka Subject Morningstar
Warning: Keep ALTR 122139 away from ALTR 114209 at all cost. They show a serious risk of helping 114209 if given the chance
ALTR 122139 is described to be a human of average height, 23 years of age and requested to be referred to using they/them pronouns. Noteable features include purple hair, blue eyes and glasses
-
122139 is to be kept under observation at all times due to their instability. Their emotions seem to be unregulated and studies have been inconclusive if there could be serious repercussions to 122139 being left to experience a breakdown. One interview reports at least 10 emotions exhibited in the short, 20 minute conversation, and the researcher claimed that they ended the interview feeling drained and numb, as if all of their own emotions had been taken away
-
Despite the worries over ALTR 122139's possible dangers, they otherwise seem to be friendly to most and willing to help. They expressed a joy for collecting and, with proper precautions, were provided with a device so they could work alongside the researchers and archivists to record data and create ALTR reports. They actually helped write their own report, providing information about themself willingly
-
ALTR 122139 is one of the few ALTRs to have claimed communication with ALTR 4766, describing them as an eldritch entity. When asked for more details, 122139 simply smiled and said "they're a friend"
Along with ALTR 4766, 122139 seems to communicate with many of the ALTRs in the facility, even requesting art supplies after discovering ALTR 0363 was provided with some
-
In conclusion, ALTR 122139's affects are unknown, but suspected to involve leaving individuals drained after an interaction. They frequently communicate with other ALTRs that they consider to be friends and enjoy assisting the facility by helping to organise data and create reports such as these

ALTR 4766 (Updates Pending)
Little is known about this ALTR, due to its inexplicable ability to evade both capture and surveillance. To this day, the subject has not been seen, filmed, or even photographed. The only indication of its existence at all is through both the confirmation of other ALTRs (see: ALTR 122139, ALTR 28669) and through intercepted communications where ALTR 4766 repeatedly attempts to goad ALTR 114209 into a physical confrontation.
Whilst confirmation of ALTR 4766β²s existence is available, descriptions of appearance vary wildly, with statements ranging fromΒ βa pronoun stealing eldritch cryptidβ to simplyΒ βa beanie bestieβ. Details of the subjectβs abilities are equally conflicting - it is implied that it is able to shapeshift, use telekinesis (ALTR 28669 repeatedly insists that it has no arms), and even transport themselves between universes. None of this can be confirmed, of course, due to the subjectβs continued elusiveness.
Should any researcher or field agent suspect that they are in the presence of ALTR 4766, they are advised to immediately report the sighting to a senior staff member. Confrontation with the ALTR is not recommended due to its unpredictable nature. Element of surprise may be the best course of action to assure containment is successful.

ALTR 4766 Archive - Log Entry #7
Semi-regular testing has begun to be put in place, with consideration to 4766's recovery from their weakened state. Two tests were successfully performed recently - one in regards to temperature tolerance, another to test possible limits of the subject's ability to shapeshift.
4766 was able to withstand extreme high temperatures, maxing out at a level of 500 Celsius before expressing discomfort. His tolerance for cold was slightly lower, with a level of -300 Celsius recorded before the subject requested to halt the test. The subject herself stated that they disliked the cold, even going as far as to admit that it caused them physical pain if he was to be kept in such an environment for an extended period of time.
The shapeshifting test was much more to the subject's liking. It was discovered very quickly that 4766 is not limited to human based forms - she was able to transform from a typical house cat, to a Harris Hawk, to an unidentified lizard-esque creature in quick succession. When asked why they had not changed to an animal previously, he simply stated that it was 'a lot easier to talk as a human'.
As part of the previously discussed rewards based system, 4766 was also allowed brief interaction with ALTR 122139 and ALTR 28669. The meeting was a very positive one, and all three expressed delight in being able to finally properly communicate with one another.
Since the subject's overall emotional state has clearly improved, a second interview will be attempted in order to continue to learn more about ALTR 4766. Researcher Rodriguez has volunteered for the task, despite the outcome of the previous attempt, and she has also requested to document the interview alone, which has been approved.

ALTR 122139 Emotional Tracking
The following is a transcript of the first interview when staff at the IRIS facility housing ALTR 122139 tried to use the WTCHR system to track their fluctuations and try to understand them better
Those changes have been included in the transcript at the time they were detected
This is Dr βββββββ. The date is ββββββββ ββ 20ββ, the current time is ββββ and I'm interviewing ALTR 122139 as part of a trial to understand how their instability works. This session involves the latest WTCHR model with a direct feed of identified emotional changes sent to my phone. Documented changes will be included in the transcript for archiving purposes. Now, good afternoon, Subject Morningstar
-
[Subject is shocked]
You used my name? Well, my IRIS name I guess
-
Of course. I've never been a fan of referring to intelligent ALTRs by their numerical code. It's dehumanising and very upsetting for many of the ALTRs we have here. I also see that the camera is working at least. I could see the moment I used your name, your status changed to shocked. We can proceed with the interview
-
[Subject became flattered after 'intelligent' was mentioned]
[Subject became paranoid after 'camera' was mentioned, and agitated once the conversation returned to them]
IRIS technology truly is fascinating when not being used to ββββ ββββββ
-
Morningstar, must we bring this up now?
-
[Subject is annoyed]
No no, I get it. It's for the greater good or whatever bullshit you spew
-
I'm not trying to hurt you. No one in this facility should be trying to hurt you. You're considered safe and we don't want to risk ruining that
-
[Subject is disappointed]
I see. You don't actually care about me, just whether harming me would be beneficial or not. You've ββββββ ββββ ββ so many people in this building, all because you decided it was worth the risk to discover something
-
We're getting away from the purpose of this interview. We want to help you, understand how your emotional state shifts so rapidly and any potential triggers that cause those switches. You're a great help to the facility, and we just want to understand you, ok?
-
[Subject is dejected, no response provided]
-
Tell me about yesterday. What did you do? How did you feel? Did you communicate with anyone? Record any files?
-
[Subject is neutral] I mean, what else can I do here? It's a lonely, isolated life, and the food is pretty awful too.
[Subject is amused]
Though I did add a bunch of typos to random files to see how long it would take someone to notice. Last time I checked, only 3 had been returned to normal
[Subject is confused]
Surely you have a system tracking logins and changes made. How come it took 5 months to for you guys to figure out that time I changed every capital I in one profile with a lowercase L?
[Subject is intrigued and curious]
I also saw what you guys added to Anti's profile. I can't believe βββ ββββ ββββββ βββ βββ ββββββ βββ βββ βββ ββββ ββ ββββ ββββββ
-
Please refrain from talking about that situation or 114209 in general, especially using a name. That is one entity that I refuse to treat with basic decency, given how much tragedy and mayhem is left in his path
-
[Subject became distressed when 'tragedy' was mentioned]
Why didn't you stop him?! Why don't you ever stop him?!
[System overload]
[Subject is angry, curious, impatient, distraught, happy]
Why won't you help him? Why can't I help him?
[Error Occured]
-
Morningstar, please calm down. I need you to breathe. Everything is ok
-
[Subject is ββββββ]
Audio after this point is corrupted with occasional heavy breathing. The interview was cut short while Dr βββββββ was escorted to the medical ward by armed guards and had their vitals checked. As reported previously, Dr βββββββ described a numb, emotionless feeling and a wave of tiredness. Vitals were normal and Dr βββββββ has since undergone a standard 2-week counselling session to ensure their numbness was dealt with appropriately

ALTR 4766 Archive - Interview Transcript #1
The following is a hand-written transcript of an interview of ALTR 4766, performed by Dr. [REDACTED]. Due to the subject's effect on technology, video and/or audio recordings are not possible, therefore the interview was transcribed by Researcher N. Rodriguez.
All attempts at interviewing 4766 MUST be approved by a senior member of staff. Any personnel attempting communication without prior approval will be considered compromised and detained for questioning.
Dr. [REDACTED]: The date is βββββββ ββ, ββββ. I am interviewing the subject known as ALTR 4766, recently contained and cleared from the standard quarantine period. Due to the subject's effect on technology, Researcher Rodriguez is also present in the room in order to transcribe the interview by hand. At this time, use of the Dr. Hopkins Assessment has not been approved, therefore this interview is simply introductory. 4766, do you understand?
ALTR 4766: Sure.
Dr. [REDACTED]: Note for the log, 4766 is currently taking the form of a roughly 5'9", Caucasian... vaguely masculine?
[4766 shrugs]
Dr. [REDACTED]: ... humanoid, perhaps mid to late 20s, with scarlet red hair and green eyes. He is currently wearing a black beanie, a dark green hoodie with two white lined bird designs, blue jeans, and black sneakers with rainbow laces. Now that that's out of the way, 4766, I'd like to ask some questions about these abilities of yours. We've already observed several of them, thanks to your... engagements with Taskforce [REDACTED].
ALTR 4766: Oh, engagements? That's the word we're using? Not something along the lines of 'I was minding my own business and a bunch of SWAT guys tried to blow out my ear drums'.
Dr. [REDACTED]: All ALTRs must be contained, 4766, regardless of their intentions or supposed risk level. Not to mention we have detected your energy signature all over this facility, including during the incident on βββββββ ββ of this year. That was your doing, was it not?
ALTR 4766: That was necessary.
Dr. [REDACTED]: [bewildered] Necessary?
ALTR 4766: Your spectacular failure at handling... him*, tells me that you're not prepared for the more powerful ALTRs that'll be knocking at your door thanks to all the 'containing' that you've been doing. I threw something big at you to try and make that clear, and you failed at that too. If that Taskforce hadn't gotten lucky with the radio, you wouldn't have caught me either.
Dr. [REDACTED]: So sending that anomaly barrelling through this facility, resulting in β deaths, was a case of altruism?
ALTR 4766: Oh, there was no emotion involved. It was just a test.
Dr. [REDACTED]: [sighs] Let's get back on track. This anomaly that you sent, where did it come from? Is it from this plane of existence, or are you able to pull things from other universes?
ALTR 4766: I mean, I can give you the what, but not the how. Yes, it came from another universe. I hop between them every so often, just looking for a bit of variety in my life. I don't know how I do it, it's just a part of my being, the same as breathing.
Dr. [REDACTED]: And are you yourself from this universe, or elsewhere?
ALTR 4766: [pauses] I don't know that I have a home. One minute I didn't exist, the next I did. I learnt about myself as time went on, just like anyone, and I learnt about anything else I could get my hands on, across multiple worlds.
Dr. [REDACTED]: Yet despite your supposed well-travelled nature, you somehow keep coming back to this specific form.
ALTR 4766: [smiles] It works for me. Plus, ββββββ** says I'm cute.
Dr. [REDACTED]: Ah, yes, let's talk about that for a moment. Both ALTR 122139 and ALTR 28669 have referred to you as a friend. Whilst the former is considered safe, the latter... well, that's not for me to discuss. Point being, you're quite close to them, yes?
ALTR 4766: [smile fades] Yes, and I know where you've been keeping them. I also know the food here is terrible, and the entertainment is considerably lacking.
Dr. [REDACTED]: Yes, some of 122139's chief complaints. And I imagine if something were to... happen, to one of these other ALTRs, you'd be very concerned, wouldn't you?
ALTR 4766: Excuse me?
Dr. [REDACTED]: Well, you've proven to be quite difficult to contain, and you've shown no obvious remorse for the lives of IRIS personnel, which would mean that any attempt at escape could result in further casualties. We would need some way of assuring your cooperation, and I can only assume that your attachment to certain ALTRs would sway your thinking quite significantly-
ALTR 4766: [turns to Researcher Rodriguez] Would you give us a moment, love?
[Researcher Rodriguez vanishes from the room, and reappears outside, standing next to 4766's current assigned guard]
Dr. [REDACTED]: Wh- how did you just do that?! What are you-!
[The containment room is illuminated with refracted rainbow light, at such an intensity that even the guard's protective eyewear is unable to withstand it. Dr. [REDACTED] can be heard screaming]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*It is believed the subject is referring to ALTR 114209 **Subject uses the chosen name of ALTR 122139
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After this point, ALTR 4766 had to be subdued by their current assigned guard using an equipped sonic weapon. Whilst 4766 was incapacitated, Dr. [REDACTED] was able to be extracted and taken to the medical ward.
Dr. [REDACTED] was pronounced dead on arrival. Autopsy results reveal that not only were his eye sockets completely incinerated, but approximately 75% of his brain was also severely burned, resulting in brain death.
4766 appears to have entered a state of severe lethargy after this attack, and assigned guards have reported no further acts of aggression. Further research is being carried out to yet again attempt to improve the effectiveness of protective eyewear used for interacting with the subject.

ALTR 4766 (Updated File)
Containment Measures: Full containment procedures are under review until the subject's abilities can be properly assessed. For now, 4766 is housed in a standard containment cell, with some modifications: due to his effect on technology, the subject cannot be monitored using IRIS WTCHR equipment, and therefore must be observed at all times from outside her cell by at least one guard, equipped with protective eyewear and armed with some form of sonic weapon. Guards must switch out at least once every three hours in order to avoid potential permanent eye damage.
Description: ALTR 4766 is a solid black humanoid, approximately 5'9", with no discernible features other than eyes with completely white scleras (no iris or pupil) and points to the end of their fingers. The subject also exudes an extremely intense aura of what appears to be refracted light, in the shades of a standard rainbow. Continued visual contact of 4766 causes him to become increasingly blurred to the naked eye, as well as mild to severe discomfort depending on how much time he is observed for. Researchers believe that extended observation may lead to temporary or even permanent blindness.
4766's abilities include but may not be limited to: teleportation (maximum distance unknown), shapeshifting, telekinesis, photokinesis, generation of an EMP field (resulting in mass failure in electrical-based technology), and potentially the ability to transport herself between universes (unconfirmed). Currently, their only known weakness is certain types of sound, particularly those with a high pitch, that can be used to subdue the subject and contain him.
During her time in containment, 4766 has been observed to shapeshift between several human-based forms, each varying in appearance. They seem to frequently settle on the following appearance: Caucasian, androgynous, short scarlet red hair, green eyes, black beanie hat, dark green hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers with rainbow laces. 4766 communicates in English, and it is unknown if he knows any other languages.
Safety Measures: Any attempts at communicating directly with 4766 must be approved by a senior member of staff. Any personnel attempting communication without prior permission will be considered compromised and detained for questioning.
All personnel conducting interviews with 4766 must wear IRIS-standard protective eyewear when observing the subject, and may not communicate with her without the presence of a guard standing outside. Due to the subject's effect on technology, all interviews must be transcribed by hand, which can be done by the interviewer or by another personnel member present for the interview.
(Despite repeated requests, 4766 is not permitted any interaction with any other ALTRs (including ALTR 122139 and/or ALTR 28669) until proper containment procedures for the subject can be finalised.)

Researcherβs Note: Shortly after this interview took place, ALTR 122139β²s containment cell camera feed was temporarily disabled. Upon re-establishing visuals, it was discovered that a small blue rock had been left on the subjectβs bedside table. Analysis reveals that the item is the mineral Sodalite, carved into the shape of a bat. - Researcher R. Spencer
