O concerto de Björk, foi sem dúvida um despoletar de emoções, fui transportada para mundos fantásticos e imaginários. Em que o gatilho disparou e quando dei por mim, já tinha uma série de diálogos e narrativas criadas dentro da minha cabeça, em que vozes contavam a história da Mãe Soberana à medida que criaturas munidas de velas, lanternas e rosários subiam a ladeira debaixo de chuva, numa harmonia conjunta e poética.

ROCK STATION

The space, located next to Estação do Oriente, in Parque das Nações, on the inaugural date December 8th, at 10pm – tickets cost between 10 - 15 or 20 euros and were on sale at the usual places.

Located in the “former Kores factory”, the room has a maximum capacity of 1100 people and, according to the press release, is equipped “with a generous stage, assisted by a team of resident professional technicians, with an area of more of 800 m2”.

“The space aims to be the great rock club in Lisbon”, the statement also reads, ���it will enrich the offer of cultural activity and the leisure industry, being a concert hall dedicated to the organization of events and focused on area of concerts and live music”.

Although the program is dedicated to pop/rock music, Rock Station is also prepared to host other events through rental.

A generous stage was born to welcome some of today's best artists. After some renovations, the building received renewed equipment and all types of sound, light and video material.

Approximately 200 meters from Gare do Oriente.

“People passing by train will soon see Rock Station. We are there, five minutes from Altice Arena, and right next to the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center. And everything it offers in terms of dining and options for those arriving or leaving the space.” - Press release.
