was not able to go to the crayfish catching today but my lab partners caught two!!!!!!!!! all is not lost for our data collection
#although i think we are still switching to river macroinverts in general instead of just crayfish#since we have only caught. three. LOL#listen i almost drowned in this river once i love her i know her but i also know she will take my life if given the chance#so i am not going very far from our point of entering the river with my kicknet 😭 but i caught a bunch of clams on day 1 (today was day 2)#the spot where we're collecting our samples is also a spot where i slipped and fell in but didn't almost drown so i know it's safe but-#there's a large dropoff on either side#<-slipped and fell in during a DIFFERENT river study some years ago#just dyspraxia things 🩵 if there is a way to fall and eat shit i will find it#starspeaks
