Realizing I can just block people who go “Sam can’t be queer, he’s cis and straight”

#although I think it’s less about it being Sam (although. I have imprinted on trans!sam so it’s a little. upsetting? frustrating.)#but more like. you’re doing that because you think ‘cis and straight’ is a bludgeon to wield against a character you think is ‘boring’#(which he is not. but we won’t get into that.)#but anyway the other side of that is that it makes being queer like. a special little reward? for good characters?#I don’t know how to phrase this properly. there’s some sort of value judgement going on there that is v uncomfy to me.#it’s not so much the ‘I think Sam is probably cis or straight’ part. whatever. I don’t give a shit about that.#it’s the tone of it that’s usually delivered in. i feel. not comfortable around it.#that he *has* to be that. because you didn’t find him interesting enough. as if gender is something to be earned instead of just like.#another facet of identity. a normal thing someone can be.#tldr I don’t care if someone says Sam is cis. it does bug me when they say that because they don’t think he’s cool enough to be queer.#that make sense?#anyway. block button my beloved <3
