I like speaking spanish on like, a physical level. Feels like the words are kinda floating; like theyre bouncing on the walls of my mouth and never really touch the ground

#voiding #compared to portuguese which to me feels much ‘flatter’ and more open #the words dont bounce much in portuguese they just come out one after another #might be bc its my native language so it feels more natural #english is a little harder to describe… I guess it kinda feels like Im holding air in my mouth and it comes out in bursts #french feels like Im whispering all the time. like the air is trying to escape through much smaller spaces than it should #and I dont speak much japanese but physically it does feel a lot similar to portuguese actually #although I do feel like japanese has more consonants and therefore more ‘bounces’
