So I finished The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert today and it was a fairytale like no other. I gave this book four stars because I felt like everything was so slow and the end just happened all too fast. The story was great and I loved the dark fairytale vibe I got from it. But I have so many questioned I feel are unanswered. Also I really want to hear about Ella’s childhood at The Hazel Wood. • • Do you like fairytales? I read a book for class called The Great Cat Massacre that discusses French society before the revolution and the first chapter is about the fairytales in their original form in France.
