gangle is a gingerbread creature from the candy canyon kingdom, she is in search of adventure with her new friend pomni!

caine is a nutcracker and the king and queen's most loyal guard! his companion bubble is a shape shifting sprite created by jax lol

and kinger and queenie are the mr. and mrs. claus of this au! they are gentle leaders who long await the arrival of their new elf! jax is their adoptive son :]

anyway yeehaw girly is in town!! can't pretend that I didn't struggle with visualising her design PFF, I was debating the entire time if giving her deer ears would be too much... still considering them tho... so yeah say hi to my Alice design :]

in my personal headcanon Solver Users may grow biological components akin to earthly animals, since the humans tinkered around with the coding and experimenting with different aspects of the Solver's ability to create biological matter such as flesh, bones and organs. For Alice, this turned into deer attributes! While her Solver's inactive (meaning it only comes out when her body is at risk of dying) she still has the biological components and self-repairing properties of the Solver infection.

Alice, Yeva and Nori used to be together during their time in the labs, and Alice was left behind after the core collapse - but not by ill means, but moreso due to the chaotic nature of everything happening, causing Yeva and Nori to lose track of Alice's position and having to leave the area before they'd succumb to the extreme heat and explosions happening all around.

I was recently reminded that "Portable Typewriters" exist for a few hundred dollars, and are marketed as "the only way to write on the go, distraction free with the small built in screen" and I would like to give everyone who, like me, is on a very very small budget and can't afford to drop $400 or $500 on a typewriter...

...here is an actual budget option for around $40, 10x cheaper, that you can use with any smart phone that has bluetooth built in, which is most modern phones.

This keyboard is around $43; if you want a colored version (grey, silver, white, blue, or green green) it goes up to $53.

This keyboard has a charge that lasts around a week or two (depending on length of daily use) and fully charges in around half an hour or less with a USB-Type C charger, included in the package.

Once you pair it with your phone, it will pair automatically when you fully unfold it, and disconnect when you fold it back up; no on or of switches needed.

If you are someone who has been tempted by the concept of writing on the go, writing on a small screen so you're not distracted by a full desktop PC or laptop, but balked at the price of $300-$600+, please consider trying out a bluetooth keyboard with a phone you already own for $40, and see if you are either satisfied with this small price point and stick with it, or take the plunge and buy a portable typewriter now that you know the concept works for you, instead of shelling out a few hundred and never using it.

The folding keyboard is small enough you can fit it in a small carrying bag, and if you have a large fanny pack that would probably work as well; I have a small purse/sling bag that I use which fits perfectly, so literally anywhere I go that has a flat surface, I can whip out my keyboard and keep on writing my novel :)

The keyboard works with any app on your phone, so you can write in Google Docs, another word processing app, or directly on 4TheWords mobile website!

But yes, if you are interested in writing on the go and are on a small budget, I highly reccomend this keyboard, it is one of the reasons I have been able to write so much in the past few months.

Musical Touken Ranbu: Michinooku ~ Hitotsu Hachisu (Michinooku ~ A Single Lotus)

Here we go! Only a few days after the archive release and toumyu's ninth anniversary (congratulations!)

Michioku, or Michihasu, is a myu I have many conflicting feelings about, both positive and negative. However, I do believe that with the right amount of care in the next Mika-related story myu, the negative can still be cleared. Plus, I'm glad about a lot of things being re-established. The writer does need to step up her game a little on the plot-writing side of things, as well as the understanding-and-respecting-past-myu side of things, but as long as she does, this can still be given a proper place within what was already established.

Keep in mind that these are only the subtitle files, timed and tled to the DMM senshuuraku and the bluray respectively. The archive version will have a talk at the start, so the starting times of the subs will have to be delayed accordingly.

Enforcer Prowl going on a raid into a building to take down this cult. When he got into the building, he's met with a summoning circle. Turns out, its complete and it summons a Demon!Jazz. Demon!Jazz first sees Prowl, and latches onto him. Now, rule following, no life, enforcer Prowl now had a Demon!Jazz following him around.

A bored, maybe slightly tispy Jazz decided to try and summon....something. It works. But turns out, this demon got rules. Now, sneaky, bouncey Jazz has a rule follower, lawful neutral, petty, Demon!Prowl fucking with his life.

Caine - The Game Master, Archangel Glycon

The man, the myth, the legend, the AI is here! Locked in through my migraine yesterday because I had nothing else to do but sit in silence and darkness and try to distract myself (thank god for Triptan /hj)

Caine's essentially full-filling a similar role to OG Caine in the Archangel AU, he's the "ringmaster" (or game master for the AU) and is in charge of constructing a random puzzle every day for the humans to solve.

Despite being way less free than he appears to be in TADC (until now) and fairly void of emotion or emotional connection to any of the human avatars there is a certain... mystery surrounding him.

A little excerpt from the story I've written so far containing him below *eyes* >:]]

Dressed in red, the blood clinged and hugged her body like a cloak made from viscous liquid, dripping down in seeming stop-motion, droplets taking their sweet time. Almost as sweet as the smell, gone was the metallic and iron nature that usually went hand in hand with blood.

Caine watched her, a faint tilt to his ‘head’, the eye observing without blinking just once in all of these hours passing, trying to figure out this enigma of a human’s mind. Seemingly doing nothing at all, his own program and coding were running to the point of overheating the system. Fans whirring and coming to life, almost like the AI itself, its intentions unclear to the watching user.

Yet, there was no one there to see the show happening. The wooden chair in front of the desk was abandoned in search of human need, food, drink, whatever necessary to keep him afloat for his mission. 

Caine had realized this window of opportunity quite easily - and he was keen on using it, abusing even. Who else would there be to stop him but his own decision making? 

Again, his attention drifted back to the figure in front of him, the blood now disappearing like vapor over a heat source, indicating that it had worked - to a certain degree. Something was missing, something essential.

He had never coded a personality before. Humans were quite complex in their making, did they even have something akin to code to hold their souls, their beings? 

Caine knew that their biology and brains were easy to recreate, even though he had barely interacted with them outside of watching their almost fruitless attempts at solving the puzzles. This one however… he felt a strange, distant sense of connection to her. She had tried to break out from the ordeal, though it had been a freak accident. 

Leaving the constraints of the building, leading to her death, unavoidable. He had tried and failed numerous times by now. To Caine, these failures were merely setbacks. Nothing to shed a tear over like humans would say, for he had no emotion outside of curiosity to satisfy.

Tried to re-create/pay homage to one of my favorite cinematic shots ever: the overhead shot of Neo sleeping on his desk from The Matrix.

Had to go with a black and white version myself to add a more ethereal vibe to it, since the colors in my room are warmer. Don't ask me how I was able to get the overhead shot myself, it was an oddysey in its own right

He's a hacker, I'm a musician, so I tried to use things more in tune (no pun intended) with my aesthetic.
