Born within the Dark Ages / Early Middle Ages in what would now be considered England, Cersei was brought up surrounded by anything and everything she could ever want or need. Her family founded, owned, and operated one of the largest gold mines of the Roman Empire, and when the Empire fell, their fortune was then reallocated to funding the Catholic church. They have continued to do this to this day, unbeknownst to the public in modern times.
Cersei, her twin brother, and their younger brother never knew strife and rarely sickness. Their family provided everything for them save for the concept of a warm and loving home. When Cersei was a teenager, all she wanted was to have a family of her own so that she could give them what she lacked her whole life: a mother. Hers died in childbirth for her little brother, which she never forgave him for, and which cemented in Cerseiโs mind her want and need for family.
Married off to another wealthy family at the age of 16, Cersei began having children as soon as she could. She had 3 in total โ Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen. Her entire life became taking care of her children, and while she adored her children, she didnโt necessarily enjoy being married to her husband. He was cruel, and uncaring, and wanted nothing to do with her other than to make more children, as he put it. She endured him and their marriage solely for her children, but felt from a young age that she was not solely interested in men when it came to love and sex.
In fact, the idea of being in love with a man seemed absolutely foreign to her. She had only ever loved one person aside from her mother, and it was a friend she made at church the year before her marriage. The girlโs name was Myrciel (murr-seel), and the two remained very close for many years. Cersei named her daughter after her, and Myrciel named her own daughter after Cersei.
Even into adulthood, Cersei remained steadfast in the fact that Myrciel is the only person she thinks she ever truly loved aside from her children. This becomes apparent in the way the two frequently drank together, talking for hours and hours and also somehow always ending up sleeping in one anotherโs beds as well. Their husbands remain oblivious, their children simply think they are very close friends, but others become suspicious. Highly suspicious.
A servant of Myrcielโs home catches the two women in โan act of sinโ โ as he described it โ and immediately reports them to the church. Cerseiโs family being who they are, pay off church officials to keep it quiet. Myrcielโs husband and family, however, are not as lucky. While the news is kept quiet as per Cerseiโs fatherโs request, another part of his request is to have Myrciel put to death in a quiet and efficient manner, so Cersei no longer has the ability to disgrace their family and her husband.
Cerseiโs father arranges for Myrcielโs death to be seen from a specific window in their family home, invites Cersei over alone for a family dinner, and forces her as well as her siblings to watch Myrciel be bludgeoned to death by church authorities.
Cersei is absolutely devastated, of course. She is not even able to leave the window until her father is absolutely sure that Myrciel is dead, but when she gets to the body, she finally breaks. Cersei sobs over Myrcielโs body for what feels like hours, she can feel her heart shattering into shards of the love she once felt for this woman. She begs god for help, but god is the very reason Myrciel is dead.
She realizes god will not help her. And so she turns to everything but god.
Cersei takes Myrcielโs body to a known witch, someone who had been outcast long ago and who Myrciel spoke about being a kind and caring person regardless of what people said about them. She begs the woman to do something, to bring Myrciel back, but the woman tells her that she canโt do that. She instead offers Cersei revenge and vengeance, she offers to give Cersei the power to avenge Myrcielโs death and prevent others like it, but it would come at a cost. Cersei says she does not care what the cost is.
The witch gives Cersei a jar and tells her to drink its contents on the next full moon. When Cersei does this, she immediately loses consciousness, waking in the middle of a clearing in the forest behind her familyโs estate. There is a woman standing above her with nothing but blackness for eyes, and the witch is nowhere to be found. Cersei questions where the witch is, but the woman laughs in response, and her voice is laced with something Cersei cannot place. Itโs almost otherworldly, and itโs terrifying, and Cersei tries to run, but the woman stops her. She says that Cersei drank the potion that summons her, so she must make an offering and strike a deal.
Cersei was never told this, but if she was going to leave with her life, she would have to comply. The woman tells her that the offering she must make is a sacrifice of something she holds dear, but Cersei refuses to lose anyone else close to her. The only other thing she cared about were her children, and she made it very clear that she was not willing to sacrifice any of them for any reason whatsoever.
The woman โ demon, as Cersei would later find out โ kisses her without saying another word. Something moves from the womanโs throat into Cerseiโs, it feels like smoke but thicker and denser, and the moment it moves into Cerseiโs stomach she begins to feel an immense amount of pain. The woman once again stands over her as Cersei falls to the ground screaming. Sheโs saying that from now on, Cersei will no longer have the ability to have children, but she will require the act of making them to continue living. As long as she feeds, she will stay alive, but she will no longer age. She will have the strength and abilities to crush those she wishes to seek retribution from, but she will not be able to love another person like she loved Myrciel or else she will eventually starve and die.
Once the pain stops, Cersei manages to get out words. She says โIโll never love anyone like I loved her, anyway.โ She loses consciousness again.
This time when she comes back, Cersei actually feels different. She can feel power thrumming through her body but itโs nearly completely overshadowed by the emptiness she feels. Itโs like hunger, but also vastly different, and Cersei doesnโt even bother to check if the woman is still there or not. She heads to her familyโs estate, finds her father, and immediately begins attacking him. To her surprise, her nails do not break when she scratches him, her fists donโt hurt when she hits him. The strength she has is unnatural; she is able to pick up her father by his throat and throw him across the room. She doesnโt care, though. She beats him to death, screaming at him the entire time, even after heโs dead.
Cersei moves on to the church authorities that killed Myrciel, then Myrcielโs husband, and plans to end with her own husband, but the hunger in her is too vast and too deep for her strength to continue. She remembers the woman saying something about feeding, but she canโt figure out what she is supposed to feed on. She plans to figure it out later, and simply use a knife on her husband, but the moment she sees him something inside her recognizes the need she has.
She kisses him as the woman had done to her, and feels a warmth inside her chest immediately. Cersei can feel whatever it is she needs flowing into her and her strength restores enough for her to crush her husbandโs head while still attached at the mouth.
Covered in blood and entrails, Cersei tries to take her children and leave, but they are terrified of her. She realizes that in trying so desperately to make the woman understand her children were not on the table, she had lost them either way. She would have either died, sacrificed them, or they would end up seeing her as a monster as they do now. She tries to tell herself that this is the better option, that at least they are alive and can thrive even if itโs away from her. She does not believe that, though.
Cersei has spent the last 1,400 years learning what she is, if there are more of her, and in turn learning more about the supernatural world. While there are others of her kind, they are few and far between, and she rarely runs into them. She has watched over her children closely, but never too closely, and she has kept track of her family line all the way up until modern times. In the 16th century, her family took the surname Lannister after the head of household at the time. Cersei has used this surname ever since.
This bio serves as a baseline for Cersei in modern occult based/supernatural fandoms. Individual fandom verses will also be posted and linked as I write them.
POWERS:
superhuman strength. gets stronger the older she gets. strongest after a fresh feed. (tvdu: equal to that of a 300-500 year old vampire.) however, she does not have supernatural speed.
indestructible/unkillable unless starved. (tvdu: this ability is NOT like vampiresโ ability to be โkilledโ but come back to life.) nothing will kill her. she can have her neck snapped, heart pulled out, bleed to death, etc. but it will not kill her. not even temporarily. depending on how recently she has fed and the quality of the energy she fed on, whatever injury that should have killed her will regenerate/heal/grow back within a minute.ย
enhanced senses. sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste. (tvdu: equal to that of a 300-500 year old vampire.)
allure. a form of involuntary compulsion. being within 1 meter / 3 feet of her will cause someone to be drawn to her, and if they give in (consent) to the thoughts/compulsion, she can โpersuadeโ them to tell her nothing but the truth. however, she cannot force them to do whatever she says, and the person must consent VERBALLY for her to sleep with them. this power cannot be turned off or controlled by cersei.
INFORMATION ON FEEDING:
she must be kissing someone to feed from them.
feeding can happen without sex, but the strength thatโs restored from it will not be as strong or last as long unless she feeds during sex.ย
after effects on someone cersei has fed from include: fatigue, lack of sexual drive for up to 3 days, lethargy, and on rare occasions loss of consciousness. the timing of these effects are cut in half if she feeds from a supernatural creature.ย
if she feeds from a human, she is capable of killing them if she takes too much energy.
she gains the most energy from vampires, and therefore seeks them out the most to feed on.ย
cersei prefers to feed on cishet men and kill them afterward, regardless of what species they are, but she is capable of feeding from any gender.ย
what happens when cersei is starved or hungry: becomes pale, eyes become entirely black, loses strength, loses energy, becomes noticeably irritable/aggressive, migraine/headache, hair loses color and breaks off, she is more easily injured and does not regenerate as quickly.
death will happen between 6-8 weeks without feeding. she will desiccate and turn into ashes. her ashes can be used to bring her back, but only the demon that made her has the capability of doing that.
WEAKNESSES:
not feeding.
drinking too much; this causes her to be even less aware of her allure ability as well as numbs her heightened senses and makes her more vulnerable to attack.
light witch magic / nature magic. she was made by a demon/demonic magic/dark magic; using the opposite of dark magic on her will weaken her but only temporarily.
stabbing her through the heart with the blood of the demon that made her will instantly kill her, regardless of how healthy she is.

This post will contain canon divergence and all forms of subverses that spin off the basic forms of canon. The basic rule if you're not keen to read it all is I follow the book timeline until it ends, and then loosely follow the major plotpoints of the show, with the exception of the final season's few episodes. I will not write that canon.
Lastly, when I am referring to any canon regarding Jon and Daenerys ( who are my default in most of these verses ), that is referring to the canon ship exclusivity I have established with @killthebxyโ . It goes without saying those contributions are his, too.
๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐; ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐. โโ spans the time across all books, and seasons 1 - 5.
The main point of my canon verse assumes everything that occurs within the timeframe across the first five seasons of the series, and across the books. The frame of Daenerys being raised in exile by her brother, before being traded to the Dothraki in exchange for an army, and managing to โbirthโ three young dragons upon her husbandโs death and her consequential miscarriage. She then makes her way from Qarth to Astapor and Yunkai, acquiring and freeing the army of the Unsullied, forming an alliance with the Stormcrows, and freeing the slaves of the cities. She suffers some unrest from theย people under her power, and some degree of disobedience from her dragons, resulting in two of them being locked beneath the Great Pyramid after her largest slaughters a child. Note, there is a lot of content within this timeframe to take in, and solely for the avoidance of rehashing everything in the earlier books and the earlier seasons ( I assume anyone who doesnโt know this character would read my bio ) - everything until the books end is canon.
The important things post books ending begin here. I will accept the events of season 6, in timeline. That is, that after being found by the Dothraki, Daenerys is taken to Vaes Dothraki to be tried before the council of Khals, and potentially fated to live a life with the widows. I will also be accepting the death that she gives those Khals by fire, and the new support of the entire Khalasar at her back, though she makes several controversial cultural changes according to her views. She secures Slaver's Bay, renames it the Bay of Dragons, and accepts an alliance with the Greyjoys. Upon leaving Meereen, she leaves the Stormcrows to secure the city, so that a form of democracy might be implemented. ย
This verse will then span upwards to her journey North to engage with the battle against the white walkers, though heavy plotting can change her reasons for that. By default, it is Jon ( or someone from the North ) that persuades her of the real fight to the North. The major changes within this arc come from a personality basis; sheโs not nearly as entitled in these exchanges, nor as bloodthirsty ( though I will be keeping the death of the Tarlys in my personal canon ). This verse will also include her arrival in the North, by which time she faces massive isolation amongst wary people, and even from her own advisors, despite her willingness to assist. This canon will end at the Battle of Winterfell.
From here, there are two potential paths for my canon. Either Winterfell falls, and the battle continues South, or Winterfell does not, and the war for the Throne begins.
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐. ย โโ set after the battle of winterfell.
Winterfell falls at the hands of the Night King's army. Instead of killing the Night King, Arya managed to kill an Other - this resulted in a large portion of the wights dying, and enough time for the Northern people to begin to scatter. Note, exactly who died within this canon is up to discussion with the appropriate thread partner. The casualties that take place in their attempted retreat are enormous, thus leading to more wights, and very few managing to escape. In this canon, Daenerys is harmed after her fall from Drogon ( and depending on the thread partner, may or may not be pregnant ). Forced to retreat South, and find what little resources they can, the remainder of the Northern forces must reach an agreement with Cersei. Within this verse, the battle for the Long Night continues on to an extended battle at Kingโs Landing, with the dragons fighting over the Dragonpit, until the Night King is separated from Viserion once again. Following this time, we welcome a dream of spring easily, presumably with Daenerys taking the Iron Throne at the end, given that the people of Kingโs Landing have seen her saving them from the darkness, and that timeline will take place in a separate part of the overarching verse.
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐
. โโ set during season 8 timeline, post bow.
This verse takes place fully divergent of the mess of season 8. After rest and recovery of her armies, Daenerys begins the fight for the Iron Throne by travelling South once more. Firstly basing herself at Dragonstone, and then travelling closer to Kingโs Landing. Any events of 8.04 ( Rhaegalโs death, Missandeiโs death, the Greyjoy ambush ) will not be considered canon in this verse unless we explicitly discuss otherwise, though I am open to Missandei's capture, or Rhaegal being controlled via Dragonbinder. Nevertheless, Daenerys attacks King's Landing by bringing down the Iron Fleet and the Scorpions, firstly. Any damage that occurs to the city occurs as a result of wildfire, not dragonfire - and the only target Drogon will attack is the Red Keep itself. Once surrender occurs, resources are distributed to the citizens of the city to ensure they donโt suffer while the transition of power happens. Cerseiโs fate is up for negotiation in this verse, and Daenerys takes the Throne.
๐ ๐
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐. โโ set in the future.
This verse, finally, takes place after Daenerys is in power. In default, she will take Jon as her husband - though he will not rule as King, but instead by personal choice, takes the title of Consort. Her rule is a peaceful one, granting Northern independence - and truth be told, if any others ask for independence, so long as they prove themselves happy and functioning, she will grant it. Every year, she travels to Meereen several times to check on how progress is going there, and instills forms of welfare and many orphanages within Kingโs Landing, as well as basic forms of education and skills trades for all. Tyrion remains her Hand.
โโ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐. these are spin off verses attached to canon, with short descriptions attached, that are also available for plotting.
alt. childhood verse : In any canon where Daenerys is raised by someone other than Viserys, to signal her background within this verse is different.
alt. northern verse : Where Daenerys is taken North and across the Narrow Sea, placing her at Castle Black, and forming a close relationship with the young Lord Commander, Jon Snow, and events of canon diverge from there.
alt. nissa nissa verse : In this verse, Daenerys does, in fact, temper Lightbringer for Jon as Nissa Nissa once did for Azor Ahai, and dies as a result.
alt. madness verse : After setting off the wildfire by accident, the majority of King's Landing is destroyed, leaving Daenerys devastated. This causes her to go 'mad' with grief, and leaves her wanting to take her own life.ย
alt. revival verse : Assuming the events where Cersei frames Daenerys by setting off the wildfire, in this verse, Daenerys has been killed by someone suspecting she deliberately lit the city, or she has taken her own life. Drogon takes her body towards Volantis, where the Red Priestess revives her.
