nina you are one of the most intelligent people i know. like, i think that there's this sort of holistic intelligence of understanding the world, and understanding people, and being able to convey these thoughts and form these social bonds and just know a lot about complicated topics and everything, and i think you have that. it makes me respect you a ton and it also makes you just. the fucking coolest to talk to. god you're so cool it's crazy

i'll be honest nina, you intimidated me a lot when we first met. i mean, you're this really fucking amazing writer and now we're interacting and holy SHIT now i'm listening to last words of a shooting star by mitski and nina left a comment on my fic and i am in SHAMBLES.

that intimidation has faded away into just, pure fucking respect. knowing that there's someone with strong opinions and intelligent thoughts who respects me as a person, who i can joke around with and talk to about our shared interests, just. nina you're so cool.

i think part of my initial anxiety fading also left this just... god okay i need more metaphors to describe this, huh. think of a sun in the winter. or, mm. think of a chocolate brownie. think of the best book you've ever read, think of music scores, think of the color yellow. there's this kind of happiness i get from being around you, nina, that i don't really have the words for. that's my best attempt, honestly.
