First of all KJDLKHJGFDJHJFLKSJD YEEEEEESSSSS! It's such an awkward place for EVERYONE in the situation in so many different directions. seeing the ccminers trying to contend with Donnie being his old self---his old self from a WHILE ago---but also I'm anxious to see what happens with ccdonnie with the canon miners. Sure, he's definitely doing a lot better by then but also his brothers are acting, from his perspective, very out of character, which in his experience isn't exactly good news...

Second I think I'm going to go ahead and write that fic if that's ok with you, but it taking place in the middle of the story leaves me a little unclear on the timeline, especially with how Donnie's sense of time is so unsteady throughout the story. Do you have any kind of set up you use to keep that clear or anything? I know that the birthday happens during the time in the closet. Do you have any ideas as to what that date is, or can I just make shit up?

CL starts roughly in mid-late july and ends early october (so technically it actually goes over three months, could probably even be rounded to four, but they dont know the exact day they were cursed, so thats usually what they estimate). i dont have a date for donnie's birthday, probably sometime mid-october roughly (oct15 would be funny because thats the date the chapter that WAS his birthday came out in). i keep dates loose because i have dyscalculia and i am BOUND to get something wrong if i stick to specific time, but based on provided information id say itd be like,,, early to mid september (2021, ngl i just kind of went with the idea that the invasion happens in 2022 because thats the year the movie came out even though itd realistically be 2020 probably?? who cares rise's time is weird anyway) when the closet happens.

the second chapter of CL takes place over the course of a month.

in CW, it's currently late-ish december, meaning that donnie has been going through it for like half a year now. rip
