and while im at it yes okay yea kurumi saiki is an adult who should know better and i enjoy her in all her milfy ways but its hard not to see her as a person with an intellectual disability doing her fkn best, and who consistently defends and protects her child, does her best to respect his boundaries so long as theyre not debatably harmful developmentally, and instill morals into him. one of these parents is trying. she doesnt protect her son from the abuse from within the home, no. sometimes, she follows their lead. but shes the only one in that household consistently trying to uplift and help her boy and i think that deserves credit where its due. she's not perfect. she's still doing better than other people i can name. why are we treating these things like theyre the same.

i can tell you hate saiki's dad, so i'm wondering if you have read my fav saiki fic that honestly kinda reads him to filth? it's 'a god walked into the office' on ao3 and it's a masterpiece so if u haven't i highly recommend.
