especially with the internet nowadays and the younger gen, they can and will get into anything, whether they fully understand the material or not. i worked with elementary children my senior year of high school in the after school program and a second grader was watching hazbin hotel so theres really no stopping them no matter the age (i highly disagree with this do not get me wrong). anyways

ghost eyes as a piece of media i feel like attracts a certain kind of reader that IS pretty young, especially because the characters are in high school and its on webtoon which has a young audience in general. it's just a highly dark piece of media that NEEDS a mature audience to properly handle the subject matter. at least a couple years ago, i dont know about now, a LOT of people were definitely not handling the series in a healthy or respectful way (of course others were just fine). i genuinely hope those readers got the help they needed in the most respectful way. i am VERY glad mcp put that warning in the beginning of the series, esp cuz canvas doesnt have the rating system originals has now. I first read it before it had that warning and i did not know what i was initially getting into lmao (still loved it anyways)

this may sound weird, but i'm kind of glad i read it so young because if ive never read it before and tried to get into it now, let me tell you, i would have dropped it so fast lmao. im glad i still love it though because the story is very intriguing and im so fucking invested. i feel younger people who consider themselves "edgy" or whatever, for lack of a better term, are just more open or can brush off some of the earlier scenes. i say this because i was kind of that person (ive gotten better and have matured). i highly enjoy the later episodes and i feel the later 2/3 of the story found a better groove idk. its still messed up but i feel a better/more mature messed up, like less of shock value things? idk, i feel even though earlier scenes were "necessary" to the story, it still felt strangely handled.

I also feel young readers now will also mature about the series as they grow older. I definitely did. instead blindly loving a piece of media at freshly 13 yrs old, i grew and realized that this is a series that needs to be heavily separated from real life and approached with a lot media literacy and critical thinking. i can love a series and characters and not let them influence my fundamental self or my values. i feel thats the problem with a lot of fans from a lot fandoms, not just ge, they just cant separate it??? idk, but im really happy mcp stopped reading the comments on webtoon as well because i cant read them either lmao.

but i mean, regardless of age, there's always going to be aspects of the fandom i don't agree with or makes me uncomfortable. tumblr is the only side of the ge fandom i interact with because its so chill, maybe occasionally insta or pinterest. tumblr yall are the real ones. im so glad i never had amino or tiktok fr. apparently those were wild idk i never went there lol

ultimately, i do not mind young people reading ghost eyes as long as they can be mature about it. and if they're not, i also realize that they're children and may or may not need help. sometimes kids are just immature, and thats normal. theyre kids. but a series rated MATURE should have a mature audience, which doesnt really have a specific age if im honest. a 15 yr old can be very mature about a series and a 30 year old can interact with a series in a very poor way. so yea, and i aint the fun police, so do what you will with your media you interact with, as long as your not hurting others or yourself. just have fun

the thing i love about ghost eyes, despite it being dark, can also be hilariously fucking funny. it has made me laugh so hard sometimes, and it can be very heartwarming. i love a series that can have that balance. im rooting for these characters fr!!

Regarding Sigyn, so far there has been no evidence within the game she's even planned to be a part of the story/plot at some point. Clearly, the developers are planning to deviate from the Norse saga and explore other myths and storylines while keeping established characters and their development. That includes Atreus and Angrboda's shared giant/Jotunn background - one of their bonding points in game but not the only one - and Atreus's quest to find potentially surviving giants, with Angrboda clearly intending to provide her assistance in every way she can. The foreshadowing of that (Angrboda giving him her marble while keeping his - with Atreus's consent, as we know - and her ambiguous post-game line about her "just getting started" with whatever she's set out to accomplish) is as blatant as the developers' direct statements that Atreus and Angrboda are "definitely doing this together" (meaning the search for giants). If the matter of Sigyn is ever brought up and linked to Angrboda (the latter is even less likely than the former, for reasons mentioned above) it'd probably be in a completely made up, non-mythological context. But even that would be too much of a stretch for Gow developers and their propensity to offer an original spin on myths/take liberties with them.

For instance, naturally, within the context of the games Angrboda is as much a young teen as Atreus is and did not give birth to Loki's children Fenrir and World's Serpent. But in game Angrboda sensing the soul in Atreus's knife did help him bring Fen back to life by means of ultimately putting said soul into Garm. The serpent was also, in a way, their shared "creation" as Angrboda guided Atreus through whispering giant's soul into it. Those are examples of SMS making mythological references without actually adhering to their mythological context and constructing their own story around them.

With Sigyn it is A) near to impossible to do and B) there's no narrative need for her to be brought up at all within the context of Gow universe. Even Freya having Hnoss and Gersemi would make more sense within the in game world in terms of her development/getting a second chance at motherhood after Baldur. Sigyn would not contribute to any development whereas bringing her in as another love interest for Atreus (who is far from the mythological Loki and has his own, completely unique arc and personality, crafted by the developers) would be offensive and imply female characters (in this case Angrboda and Sigyn) are interchangeable and exist as plot devices/footnotes in male character's story.

ok more thoughts (tbh just typing out stuff until it makes sense) abt the wwdits finale cos i was kind of out of it/frustrated whn i made the last post lol ^^;

literally everything, EVERYTHING until now indicated that nandor didnt give a fuck about guillermo and he was gonna 100% kill him, actually, literally, for having another vampire turn him, since this is a HUGE disrespect towards him in the vampire world. and ill be honest we as the audience kind of know already that nandor does care abt guillermo... but we also know that nandor isnt really aware of this, and thats hes pretty selfish and proud (and also an idiot). so yeah, hes very well capable of killing guillermo tbh!! but he doesnt!!!!

instead, he tells guillermo hes too important for him to do that, and that hell be sad if he dies! AND he even helps him turn completely by giving him human blood. unusually quick to catch on to what the problem was, i might add. as if he had taken guillermo's vampire hunter's blood and how it would affect turning him into consideration before. AND when he realizes that guillermo is unhappy he not only -as i said before- is the 1st one to notice, but he IMMEDIATLY cooks up a plan to help him revert the process. a GOOD one (wtf) and again, very quickly too, as if he was expecting this turn of events. HECK HE EVEN SAYS THAT EXACTLY he says that he suspected/feared that guillermo wasnt 'cut out' to be a vampire, which i think is something that has come up before in the show but in context im sure we all brushed off as a mere excuse for not turning him, since thats just the reality for familiars in this universe.

in the end, they go back to how things were b4 guillermo was bitten. everything goes back to normal… right? right, except we as the audience have a different perspective on things.

again, we kind of knew that the vampire clique(?) uh yea idk sorry im calling them that rn lol) kinda, sorta, cares about guillermo. maybe. well, now its... somewhat? confirmed, via the guide subplot that vamps are assholes to others bc they just hv a vampire way of expressing things. then again, this whole thing was towards another vampire, and until the last episode they dont see guillermo as a (true) vampire.

clearly theres the plot embryo structure at play here, and i think i now understand guillermo's arc a lot better.

theres something he wants, somethings he's always wanted: to become a vampire. for some LONG 4ss time now hes been very frustrated bc his master doesnt seem to have plans for turning him any time soon. hes growing anxious bc of this but we know thats not the only reason; he clearly thinks the vampires in the house dont value him, dont see him as an equal. he thinks nandor doesnt care about him. and hes not entirely wrong, tbh.

the "final" decision to ask derek to turn him comes from mostly these feelings of being inadequate, of feeling like hes the only one who actually cares (about guillermo himself. about what he wants. about him and nandor's apparently dead end relationship)

so he gets sick of waiting, and he just goes to get what he always wanted by his own means.

and regrets it completely. so much so that at the end he makes the decision to turn back.

so... what it is what he truly wants, then? or, better yet, what does he need? his true wish. why did he want to become a vampire this whole time? what is he after?

in the last ep is also revealed that (apparently?? idk im gonna need a bit more context) its guillermo who choose nandor as his master. or at least, he genuinely thought nandor was a really good choice. the best even. he admires him, wants to be like him. wants to be near him.

guillermo probably admires the vampire's lifestyle more than being a vampire itself. he has a very supportive family but they are also... vampire hunters, so its clear they dont like vampires, and probably disagree with their lifestyle for that same reason, which obviously ties together with it being a religious family and also the fact that guillermo's sexuality is pretty obviously closeted.

i think nandor's most important arc until now was... kind of the opposite but also the same as guillermo's. he tried to become human.

the reason he did this was bc he felt lonely as a vampire. yea being a vampire is cool as fuck but its kind of isolating in a way too when youve got no one to share it with. im not gonna go super in depth talking abt this bc 1) i saw this season whn it came out n havnt rewatched it since n dont wanna misquote anything -.-;; and 2) i think the meaning its also pretty self explainatory. im literally describing it and you can already tell what everything means. of course its guillermo who goes to get nandor back to tell him that thats not who he is.

ok moving on. nandor is p much still alone in the romantic/lifetime partner sense. he alredy tried changing who he is to get a partner (or at least, to have a place where he doesnt feel as lonely) and that didnt make him happy. NEXT, with the help of the genie (sorry idk if thats how u write it eng is not my 1st lang im lazy etc) he tried, on the contrary, to change all his partnerts to the point they werent themselves anymore to accomodate his needs and whims. he tried to find the "perfect" partner, one that did everything he wanted, exactly. well, surprise, that didnt work out either. that didnt make him (or anyone) happy.

at this point i think its p obvious that he needs to compromise with other people. hes too self absorbed, too focused on what he wants as an end goal and doesnt truly see who his partners are as people. for him, they just serve as a role, they just exist to feel this void he has, this loneliness.

I never actually got around to trying discord until recently, mostly because i had a feeling it wouldnt work for me. But then i saw that post of yours about the emergence of ao3 and went to #8(/#9 im sorry)’s blog and found all these guides to set up your own site, encouraging you to learn html and lean into the small web. And ive started trying to learn, but in the meantime i figured id give discord a try as well, since that seems pretty similar to the closed groups of LJ and ye ol internet even before.

And boy oh boy is it not for me. Maybe i just stumbled upon the wrong places but… theres always this “in” feel to them, which of course there would be, theyre basically huge whatsapp groupchats, but with people i dont know. I barely have the energy to be active on groupchats with friends i know and love and know irl and have a history with, i definitely cant be active enough to remain “in the know” in a discord server. This duscussion thread format requires so much energy, and im more of a lurker. I send asks and add onto my reblogs sometimes and stuff like that, but definitely am not in any circles where fandom is conducted privately and nor would i have the energy to be.

Having to use that kind of format as main fandom-format would take it out of me so badly… i understand that with users being the products and the constant exposure, it does seem natural to seek out more closed private places. But i honestly feel discord is not the place for it, at least to me. Everything moves way too fast and the cliques are the last nail for me. If i was interested in social hierarchy i wouldve stayed on instagram. The fact that tumblr is as anonymous as you want it to be and has no follower/likes chasing is the main reason why i love it (besides the familiarity and everything). I understand this is not everyone’s experience, but my dash is curated to death, i never see any bullshit, so to me this space does feel intimate and cozy as well (i guess without chatrooms, but i dont really feel that loss) and im a strong beliver in blocking.

I feel like discord is too careless and borne of modern understanding of internet social spaces, if that makes sense. I feel like closed, more private formats of interacting with fandom would also require more “care”? For example, having your own site, maintaining it, modifing it, lovingly adding to the content, the layout, eveything, theres this “tending to” vibe, which i feel encourages bringing in this vibe into fandom interactions themselves, as opposed to the fast, impossible to catch up with, catty or careless vibe of discord. Yea, the internet goes at breakneck speed and were just along for the ride, but at least in a public space like tumblr that feels manageable.

I do think that to thrive fandom requires being able to take a break without having to suffer the cost of being left behind. And sure, i guess that would work if your server is with people youre friends with, but how often does that happen and how lucky would you have to be.

I don't think it's entirely luck, but yes, making discord not be like what you describe does require a very particular kind of group and management.

The biggest thing I've seen, historically, in platform changes is that the people who make spaces or who are the sparkly, obvious people other people trail behind are fine. They go make a new place.

But the rest of the population may or may not be able to follow. It's not always exclusion from a private discord or anything. Often, it's more like the LJ-->Tumblr move. A lot of people were left behind because it's simply too visual here.

Different formats appeal to different types. I've come to enjoy tumblr, but it was quite unpleasant at first.

One reality of fandom is that there is always social hierarchy. People have asked me "Why do you reblog so-and-so so much???" and the answer is generally two things: 1. that person literally sends me their posts (which requires a certain level of bravery or chutzpah) and/or 2. I know them (from cons, from LJ in 2005, from them sending me private chat messages a lot, from them being highly visibly active like I am over a long period of time, etc.). The times we think there isn't social hierarchy are when either we are the one in the clique or those invisible ties between other users are not perceptible.

But scratch the surface--by having to move platforms, for example--and all kinds of social connections and fault lines will show.

aang and yue do spirit communicating and spirit world trips and bending together and its cool katara practices with them because yue wants to take waterbending influences - katara and yue become really close friends and they tease sokka together whenever they can

in the secret tunnel episode yue thinks the nomads r the funniest thing and shes laughing and having them teach her songs and her voice is HORRIBLE and sokka is just oh dear i love her…

they realize they all definitley like each other, but suki has to go back to the rest of the kyoshi warriors and they kiss and yue takes sukis hands and promises her she will find her again and theyll see where the go from there and gives her the carving sokka made for her and suki gives yue the carving sokka made for her and its very much an if we make it out well see where we go from there

sokka makes yue a cool meteroite knife while hes making the sword and she loves it and immediatly starts target practice

yue and katara both go with hama in the puppetmaster and its actually a redemption episode and yue shares a message from tui with hama and hama thanks them both and decides to go to the swt 

yue goes on the boiling rock trip and eyes zuko from the other side of the balloon and he asks o uh how are you alive? yue: i gave back the moon spirit and then the moon came back and then i became a vessel for tui and i got spiritbending. sokka: ur so cool

yue spots suki first and nudges sokka and sokka sees her and goes !!. when zuko stands guard he is so extremley awkward abt it bc he doesnt understand why the both of them went in bc he doesnt realize theyre both kinda with suki. inside the three of them are hugging on the ground and outlinging a fast plan

when chit sang goes: hey ur girlfriend is going away, yue crosses her arms and goes: hey thats MY girlfriend chit sang: oh sorry didnt mean to assume

zuko: i thought you were dating sokka? sokka: yue and i are both dating suki because we are all really cool and awesome :D

when hakoda finds out his son has two badass girlfriends and one of them is the leader of an elite group of warriors and the other is the princess of the nwt he goes and takes a nap

you know that scene where suki is trying to sneak into sokka’s tent but zuko interrupts? yue is already in the tent with sokka and hears the stumble and is like zuko?? we didnt invite you but uh? i guess just talk to sokka quickly we have plans

zuko is very intimidated by yue already so hes much more awkward but he goes in and asks his question and then suki and yue go and hangout with sokka and the three of them have a cute date and do each others hair and suki brings out her fans and they fan each other even though suki goes: hey those are weapons! >:( yue, guiding sokka on hiding his face w a fan: yes suki we are so sorry, come fan me with your weapon please

yue dies in the ember island players version of events so suki sneaks yue and sokka backstage so the three of them can roast the actors and playwright and dfghjk yue is like you know what they wrote me out so im taking kataras place and suki and sokka shrug and they convince the katara actress to let yue take over for the next act

yue makes the show 10x better and almost refuses to die when shes supposed to be defeated and suki and sokka are just quietly cheering in the background like THATS OUR GIRLFRIEND

when theyre facing the fleet in the finale im not saying yue throws her meteorite knife and hits ozai but she totally throws her knife and hits ozai

suki sokka and yue kiss at zuko’s coronation bc they all love pda and then they seperate for a while as they go back to their respective homes but they stay in close contact and sneak away to visit each other whenever they can and they manage to make some sort of rotation schedule between homes between the three of them and have three kids :)

I write angsty stuff for my ocs oops-

When i first started making my characters they were very different in alot of ways and they were very different from what they are now. But i some how managed to glue all the chaos of my ocs together into a semi-coherent story. I went through an insane amount of world building with myself and i honestly dont think ive ever writen or typed any of it out before! its all just up in my head (and you know my memory is trash so ive probably forgotten of alot of things i made before lol). Anyways- i have two main story lines for my characters. Ethan's story, and Vevlet's story. Although i must admit Ethan's story is less complex than velvets simply beacsue it acts as a story of prequeal to Velvets story line. (Alternate realities that happen to have effect on each other basically- we love space time junk)

Ethan's world is very similar to ours, the most similar out of any of my fantasy worlds lol. Ethan's story revolves around self-discovery. I mean for it to be a wholesome/lighthearted thing that quickly leads up to dark undertones (spoilers lol). Ethan's story begins with Eef pre-transition (AFAB to NB). We get to see Ethan learn about themself and have fun exploring emotions and what it means to be alive. Ethan comes from a run-down family (mom khs, dad mia). So he lives with his adoptive parents (who i have yet to design and think about- theyre lesbians 100% though). A major moment for Eef is meeting his partner Seth. As you already know Ethan and Seth are cute ass boyfriends and stuff but guess what! im jammed their story full of angst and edgy shit bc i "wrote" most of this when i was hella depressed! Anyways Seth's family is like moderally welathy, wealthier than most i would say. Seth catches feelings for the emo chick ofc (forgot to metion Eef was definately a hot goth girl before he transitions).... uh yea anyways seth ends up flirting and crushing on eef and eef is like yea sure im bored and sad why not. and they end up dating after a while. Theres an important moment in their relationship when Ethan take Seth to this dead tree. THis dead tree is very important also bc it is where his mother hanged herself, and Ethan doesnt quite remember that bc he was very young when it happened, but he knows it as a place of comfort and he goes there alot when he feels sad or alone. this tree could be taken as symbolizim but heheh ill never tell. anyways Ethan is like yo my fevorite tree and Seth is like wtf okay bro ily and all but why a dead tree with an unstable tire swing?? ANd ethans like idk but i like it here reminds me of my childhood (op my guy) and they spend the night there. Also when ethan comes out to seth as nonbinary seth is just like ok,,, because hes bisexual lol. anyways time skip and Seth has some addiction problems once he graduates, long story short- Ethan doesnt like it bc his dad was a druggie so he trys to help Seth and Seth raises his voice and ethan is tiny compared to his bf so hes naturally like terrified of being hit and he suddenly feels his world of happy and peace he build back up bieng destroyed once again so he heads to his mothers dead tree and decides life isnt worth it anymore, and he hangs himself in the exact spot his mother did.... once seth comes off one of his highs or whatever hes like- oh fuck i yelled and acted agro to my traumatized partner. and he immedatly goes to the tree bc its Ethans favortie spot but its to late. regret is the only emootion anymore... its over for them.

now youre probably wondering how the absolute hell does that tie into velvets lore?? well do i have a tale for you. Velvets sotry begins on her 21st birthday, she is out for drinks with her douchebag bf and her bestfriend. several drinks later she yells over blaring club music shes going to the restroom, and as shes walking back she sees her bf and her bestie making out and she doesnt even say anyhting and walks out alone. She is making her way back to her apartment very tipsy. She then hears a vechile driving beside her, she cant make out anyhting theyre saying and the people in the car get out and before she even relises whats going on shes thrown into the vechile and is being beaten and yelled at. She passes out as theyre driivng to somewhere. When she next awakes she is in a barn-looking place. Concreate walls painted red and straw all over the floor. she cant stand, her legs stung and so did her entire body. for several days- she doesnt know how long she stayed in this place unable to move or do anything. Weak and starving, she gathered up her last bit of strength and hung herself on a low board (havent really worked out the details on that scence bc i keep changing my mind but she does hang herself). Cut to a space of nothingness- legit nothing- exactly its impossible to imagine nothing. In the nothing sits velvet all skin and bone, and then an entity, a hooded figure with long hair, sits next to her. No words are spoke, but the entity looks at velvet longingly. Then it tears out its eye- just full on plunges its hand into its socket and rips it out. bloody mess honestly. the entity hands its eye to velvet, and she takes it. there is no thoughts here, no sound, only actions. Cut once more to a coriners room place? ya know the place with dead bodies and tables and shit- anyways a bright light emerges from dead!vevlets chest and surrounds her entire body. *cue stunned doctor mans* Velvet arises from her death with her scars healed over and... wings. Yup shes an angel now. I mean her world already had monsters and things of suppernatural belonging but- angels are rare. She makes 1 of 2 angels in their relam as of current. Angels are "made" from regrets. Regret overflowing from two sources- one long dead and the other recent. This is where ethan comes in. Ethan's regret from how he died was powerful and sad, powerful enough for his spirt- an entity- to reach Velvets. Velvet too, had much regret in her death. So young and so many things that could have been avoided. In the days following up to her death in the barn/cellar she only felt regret. Regret for all she did and all she didnt do. So much pain summoned the entity. Their powerful forces of regret pulled them together and allowed Velvet to return- but at a price for the both of them. the entity lost its eye- symbolizing a loss of humanity and conscientiousness. While Velvet lost herself, she no longer can view her world in the same way. She has severe ptsd- like episodes and halucinations. She cant go back, she has to live through he own grief. Velvets appearnace also changes quite a bit. Her hair got longer, she has two sleek gray wings on her back, and- one of her eyes are purple now. why does it hrut her to see that eye? why is it all so familiar yet far away. Her human brain can hardly understand all the changes. But she was gifted this- she knows she must try. And luckily for her society sees angels as higher beings. They are given the umost respect but they are also greatly feared because of how misterious their origins are. The only other known angel meets with velvet quite alot through her story, he will act as a sort of guide/plot device to make things a bit easier for myself (havent worked out his lore tho or even a design for him hjbfkjsdb). Anyways im tired and its 1:35 am so thats all the lore you get for now, plus its the stuff ive thought about the most so- i dont really want to think any furtherb ahead yet lol. to many little things to work out...... i love creating but oml typing hurts after an hour or so-

hdgsgsdf omg karl's latest diaries are a trip and a delight when thinking about honk, like esp once he knows that honk's influenced by the in between, karl literally references the in between as a friend looking out for him!! honk is literally karl's friend guiding and helping him!! and then the hints that theres more going on that he can't trust, his hesitancy about the in between translating over to honk. it's so fun to think about, applying the canon to the spau. like "i genuinely feel safe talking to honk about what's troubling me, but clearly i can't trust him with everything, even if he is trying to protect me, bc i dont know how much of him anymore is me or him or the inbetween"

but oooooooo, that sounds like such a cool fic part!!! bro!!! sapnap expecting honk to be, like, a legitimate shadow, a karl-tinted version of his own, but it just feels halfway like talking to karl and it's So Weird. i can imagine at some point later sapnap hearing karl call his name and turning around like "hey karl! :D" but it's. just honk standing there.

and Yes poor honk!! like he didn't ask for Any of this, he could've formed whatever relationships and friendships he wanted, and instead he has to deal with this weird guilt trip of feeling like hes somehow stealing karl's, bc he remembers them all like he was there and the more he gains about them the more karl loses. and on top of that, it's not like any of them are reciprocated bc no matter how it feels honk is not karl??? which leaves honk in this awful limbo where he wants to reach out but he also Does Not Want to reach out, and it won't turn out well either way. :(

but shsjhdahgdjs it's like!!! the argo question thing!! how many times can you repair a ship, replacing it's broken parts, until it's just not the same ship anymore. except here it's also if you use all the old parts to build a whole new identical ship, what's the difference between the new ship and the original? which is the real argo? LIKE. that's such a terrifying question for both of them to ponder!! if theres nothing left of karl, but honk now has everything he lost, how the heck do either of them come back from that?? that's suuuuch an intriguing slope to think about, omg.

YEAH LIKE,,, sapnap’s starting to get how his own shadow (Pan! i love pan. would love to draw him someday.) acts, has some reasonable expectations for when he interacts with honk, and honk is just... Off. Wrong. it’s like he’s talking to karl but just a Little off-center, somewhere between comfortable and uncomfortable, aaand i just remembered i wrote something somewhere hold on

He’s surrounded by people he vaguely knows from secondhand becoming firsthand— random memories and anecdotes about players he’s never spoken to falling through the gaps in Karl’s memory to land in his hands. Honk has never met Lazar, but the connection of face-to-name is there; he remembers being close to Eret, but Eret probably doesn’t even know he exists.  It’s almost a relief to meet people Karl hasn’t, because Honk has time to build up his own perspective before it gets knocked askew by the inbetween shoving more pages into his book.

    The hardest ones to talk to are Sapnap and Quackity. Karl’s still holding onto most of his memories of them, but there’s some things that slipped through his fingers. It makes Honk’s heart hurt looking at them, and it’s not helped at all by his shadow instincts raising their hackles at the sight of a player. There’s been awkward scenes where Sapnap would try to talk to him— ask him where Karl was, ask him about his day, let him know Pan was around, overall trying to be a nice guy— and Honk would treat it like mashing through all the dialogue options to get through the conversation as quickly as possible before he snapped.

    He’s pretty sure Sapnap thinks he’s an asshole. It sucks.

Ok so warning ahead of time, there is some NSFW stuff kinda, main warning is me being crappy at writing anything NSFW lmao.

 SFW:

 - I feel like he’d probably, at the start, be defensive to contact and may even push you away

- once he gets used to it however he loves it, he loves to have any form of contact with you

- too warm to hold you in his arms? he’s gonna hold your hand or at least a finger

- cold snowy winter? you’re probably only gonna be let out of his grasp if you need the toilet but even then it’d be reluctant

- would most likely nuzzle into your neck, especially if he’s holding you from behind

I went to my aunts house today and it was super fun but i realized just how homophobic my cousin was omg. Like we saw a pic of one of my other cousins i havent seen in a while and shes a butch lesbian. And my other cosuin said "oh yea hazel is a d slur now" and me and her son were like "what the fuck u cant say that" and it was do awkward. She was just like "lmao okay u liberals.." but it was so fucked up. And my mom and my aunt Looked at me bc they both Know im bi. And yea it was awkward. Like damn she was so unapologetically lesbophobic. U know that post like "being lgbt is knowing that ur family's love is conditional" yea. I felt that. It made me rlly appreciate her son bc she called him out. Also seeing him was weird bc i rwmeber him as a child and taking care of him at family parties while the adults talked bc i was the oldest of the younger female cousins and yea. I havent seen him in like.. 8 years. I dont think he remembers me but he seems like such a good kid now. I wanted to talk to him more but didnt get the chance. Also hes 16 which is WILD when i realized bc some of my mutuals are 16 and like.. damn. It was So Weird. Like wow some of yall are young. I just wanna guide yall. Also it made me realize that brown parents rlly see their kids as servants sometimes bc my cousin made her son like get water and get chairs and do things for so many ppl it was so sad. undercover brother (2002) review

sup been a while but didnt forget about yall and your eager butts to dive head first right in the flooding words coming out of my mouth today gonna rev "undercover brother" (2002), its gonna be solid guys

so we start with an introduction where we talk about how black culture was losing its flavour after the 70s, progress was slowed down n all as we reached 2000 but dont be fooled, its all cause of a buncha events orchastred by "the man"... a big racist mf ig whos also the kkk equivalent of the team rocket boss, sitting in a ig chair, never see his face in the flashbacks or like the bad guy in inspector gadget, more like him ig since we actually see the team R boss face quite often nonetheless, theres a form of mystery folding this whole business... THE MAN acts in the shadows and he hates to see how dark those are, he wants things to be like it used to be back in slavery times good oltime for him but.. not for the fam

ofc then here is introduced THE REAL MAN OF MEN => undercover brother, our hero and damn he has the style of a whole pack of elephants trampling around in pink disco suits every ladies wanna a piece of that sweet fro he is packing up on his head, funky

ngl, the whole way this mov is filmed n edited is sike asf, dope guys especially considerin its actually made in 2002, loving it anyway then were also introduced to the other secondary protags who are from an organisation here to stop The Mans evil doings and careful: undercover bro was actually a solo act until now cause now they gonna collaborate all throughout da mov: its the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D, with conspiracy brother (tbh a fav here, guys wack like the whole plot guy thinks computer comes from a story involving peanut and idk guys he keeps rambling bout bs which makes him a+ character) smart brother, chief and sister girl (original name/10)

so btw the organization is on a mission rn at the beginning to destroy The Man (lets call him tm for the rest of this rev) financial infrastructure aka funds to stop him better or smthg and it gets spicy as they get caught but ofc undercover bro barges in from nowhere wow big disguise as an old man no one noticed him so like slash bawow boom vlam, bad guys ko and he squeedaddle out of there like twas breeze gg man, he also get fed a nice editing of xrays battle like with a side of kungfu n whatnot, undercover bro knows his stuff

nice sounds effects ah yes btw romantic intrigue with sister girl begins here, its the zinc of the flinch as ub (undercover brother) notices her big wink wink nudge nudge, btw later she is asked to go enlist him in the corps so he can help stop the man with them n shit and he trynna get her in his bed cause thats we this brother is used to, getting laid as soon as he meets a chick, who can resist this dude?

he gots moves, fro, style, skills and also at times he is a pussy but k, not everyones perf sometimes you just simp for a white blond blue eyed woman (spoiler) and crawls on all four looking like a big preppy nerd btw in this review im trynna not spoil the whole plot cause guys, this movie gotta be on yo watch list kay? im not here to ruin this experience in yo life itd be pretty uncool of me so im just gonna state the big lines then its up to you to swoop the tiny ones out of the watch, knot your own breds n stuff

back on the whooper slapping: intro credits roll, we get some nice back story for our hero, making sure we can understand his cause in saving the black peeps from TMs assholery might truth n justice be your guide

so what the big plot then? well yknow how a big antag cant do shit on his own cause hes too busy sticking brooms up his ass in his private quarters? yea well same goes here so there this gay guy who will be twerking later on btw, a scene to behold, rumps to ogle at, so hes a bad guy and gay n gonna do most of the dirty work for TM, whats new? idk what to think of it yknow its a stereotype in movs so ig ok still uncool but ill see it as all in good spirit cause theres bad n good im not excepting this to be the best watch of my life, nah it wasnt either, but i had a good laugh kay? makes up for it cause unlike some here i got no shit up my ass alley its clean scrubbed up n down so i can smoothly take a chillax up n a shit out without a night tormented by constipation, nah its all sliding where it should no pain no sweat

so the big lines is that a war hero whos a black man is gonna become president and wtf no is the only react racist mf could have which is what they have, bad guys gonna stop it from happening at once and the brotherhood aint letting it happens cause obvs something is wrong as every black peeps gonna turn into a stereotype like waddup in this mad world? its all because of the poisonous fried chicken brand TM will get around ty to another poison to make our war hero delusional n so on were also introduced to white evil she-ra later btw, just dropping this in cause undercover brother really wants to make oreos with her n sister girl (his words) ig shes the second love interest, im not too invested in this romantic intrigue it was just necessary not like twas very developped anyway its even more of a bedroom intrigue when it comes the the white blue eyed blond chick, sister girl before hoes yo

whats it in conclusion about this movie? first, the plot: hilarious biznasty worthy a+ bs especially how its turned yknow, the clichés were turned upside down n if not theyre just turned into a big satire of themselves editing + music ? yknow its actually good, and funky asf im digging it, a travel in time nostalgia of times i lived acting is pretty neat its not an ironically good movie cause its hilariously ridiculous in the making way its all about the plot here, plot twists and characters, the whole universe ig like its superior to big mamma sorta plot or maybe im dropping this comparison cause its been a while since i saw big maam, for sure twas under estimated while over brought when this here? it got freshness packed in

the spoiling was light and this is cause this movie got a 69/10 rating jk 8/10 if were gonna be serious, im gonna list wats unwoke n uncool here: 1 gay villain stereot, gotta be honest here its not that big of a deal tme seeing when it was made and how i still laughed yknow idc this much but some could go apeshit over it 2 not enough conspiracy brother content: this is all i ask for 3 had no snacks while watching the movie, too bad id dig a aj or grape soda right about now n then 4 more lines for car wash chicks jk this last one idc about, but car wash representation is lacking once again in american movies, i cant believe how looked over it is, as if they didnt need smore rep in the medias its not an easy job washing car all day long, standin in those ghost buster lookin suit while staring at the hot guys in hot wheelys, whos gonna pay you a drink when youre just an old carwash lady? thought finally a hero would step up in this movie but there it goes thrown out da window, the potential was real until it got blown away sure sister girl was a solid character but give the washers some credits cut them a slack of free time n have a lil date together there on top of a truck to keep it native

Soulmates

I have been thinking about yasuho and josefumi for like a week and every time I do I start tearing up cuz I just love em sm, and maybe this is obvious and doesn't need to be pointed out bUT Im gonna do it anyway cuz I just adore the way araki writes fate n destiny so much.. 

josefumi and yasuho are extremely similar to each other, and don’t even really realize it! this is because josuke has no memories, but a part of him still IS josefumi. yasuho is drawn to josuke, and Tsurugi states he believes this is because she is projecting her own feelings of not knowing who she is onto him. While I do think to an extent this is true, theres something else going on that none of them are aware of yet.. major JJL spoilers below the cut!

stand users are drawn to each other right? they're fated to run into each other. people are the same way regardless of having a stand or not, they are drawn to people who are similar to them in multiple ways, in upbringing, in emotions, in lessons they've learned or goals they want to reach. this is super aparent with yasuho and josuke and they both don’t even realize it yet becuz of josuke’s memory loss! This is why yasuho is so drawn to josuke at first and prolly why she directly helped pull him out of the dirt in the first place, albiet subconsciously :^]

For both yasuho and josefumi, their parents were divorced and they were both raised by really shitty moms. They both also had traumatic near-death experiences as children (yasuho was 13 so yea she a baby too) that really effected them.

(Check this parallel out, their bodies are both surrounded in water when these traumatic events unfold)

because of this, they were both hospitalized. Josefumi and Yasuho were both rescued by Holly, and saved by Kira during these hospital visits, and subsequently their fates both became intertwined with the mystery of the rokakaka because of this (as well as with each other).

(and yes, Kira saved yasuho back then, he stomped the rock animal to death and saved her from any other future torment the creature had planned for her.)

Because of their traumatic experiences and the no doubt shitty childhood they both have had, they both have these constant lingering thoughts that they don’t know who they are, and they don’t believe in themselves.

Josefumi even believes he died a long time ago...

“Even I don’t know who I am!”

both of these two are swallowed in this depression, that they are lost and unaware of their true selves. These emotions, these events and the way they've been brought up connect josefumi and yasuho, they can understand each other more easily because of these things, and these fates tie them together. However, when they meet, they don't realize any of that stuff becuz when they meet josefumi is josuke! 

I would even go as far as to say josefumi and yasuho are soulmates, because a soulmate is someone connected to you through fate to help you grow as a person, and I think it’s obvious yasuho has grown so much by being with josuke! yasuho helps josuke unravel the mystery surrounding who he is, and at the same time she is learning about herself as well. She is more confident when josuke is around, she’s happier and sillier and all around more her true self when he is with her. Josuke, obviously, is having to literally put together puzzle pieces to find his literal lost identity, but he certainly feels as though yasuho saved him as well (once again, very literally!) 

Yasuho even realizes this and admits it, saying “I may have pulled him out of the dirt, but the one being pulled up was me!” she believes josuke saved her, from her sadness and her anxiety. through the experiences they've both been through because they've met one another, she has grown more confidant and sure of herself. She finds things she loves and has a purpose, because of josuke! and he knows yasuho saved him as well, and is still helping to save him! they are each other’s heroes! thats what being soulmates is all about :^) 

along with their backgrounds being very similar, they also have eventually reached the same goal. Josefumi wants to save holly, and this feeling (as well as maybe Kira’s) is so strong it carries over to josuke even though he might not know 100% why. 

I just love them sm... araki is rly good at writing these sorts of things to feel really human and realistic, I love it!!

also another big thing for me is Paisley Park... she is literally a stand with the ability to alter fate! She guides people to where they need to be to avoid danger, looking into the very near future and giving them options on how to escape a sticky situation. I think that later on, if paisley park level’s up, that this ability is going to be expanded upon a whole lot more...!

I also also think, and i could just not remember this correctly so sorry if I'm wrong, but i dont think yasuho has seen a picture of josefumi yet still?? So i think maybe later on that that could be something significant too... Like maybe yasuho remembers something else that has to do with her meeting josefumi when they were younger (they are the same age after all) and not realizing that was josuke all along, yanno? I’m really betting on this tbh lol, but I guess we’ll just have to anxiously wait and see!! ^^;;
