the natural history museum in my city has a summer job position to work in the butterfly vivarium, and i'm pretty sure i qualify!!! seriously, getting paid to be around butterflies and answer butterfly-related questions all day????????? it's really a dream come true... and i think i'm gonna apply :D

#melonposting #finally i can achieve the autistic dream of infodumping about my special interest for a living!!!!#and if i do get to work there that'll look good for anything entomology/lepidopterology-related i pursue in the future #it makes me so excited thinking about it :) wowza #also y'know how i emailed my animal behavior & butterflies high school prof about getting into the field?#she doesn't have any tips herself BUT she's getting in contact with the guy who wrote the caterpillar guide she gave me!!!!#so hopefully i can get some insider secrets about succeeding in the entomology world ;)
