Hiiii there!!! I'm a newish fan of NCT and I love them so much they're all so talented it's unbelievable and I was just wondering if you could tell me a bit about Taeyong and his personality because I can't seem to get a feel for it and I'd love to know more about that adorable cutie pie especially since it's his birthday. So, would you mind giving me the rundown on Taeyong? Thank youuuu

First of all, it’s already an established fact that Taeyong is very goodlooking. Like… here if you don’t agree although i don’t know why you wouldnt agree with me

it’s not debatable ok (id also like to take this time to point out that he’s a king of working all hair colors) BUT ANYWAYS, THERE’S SO SO SO MUCH MORE TO HIM THAN JUST HIS FACE 

1. he’s absolutely talented 

he participated, alongside mark, in writing the lyrics of many songs in nct’s albums you can refer to this from his wikipedia page

my personal favorite song from him in which he wrote the lyrics for is piece of mind, if you haven’t listened to it yet i really recommend it because the lyrics are so raw��and straight from his heart; i feel it just shows how thoughtful he is and how passionate he is about what he does. also its a song he said that helped when he was down 

beside from that, he’s also a dancing god? alright not to be extra but i get goosebumps whenever i see him dance because he puts his whole soul into it. taeyong is someone made for the stage: he shines there, he belongs there… each move is so sharp, and so carefully executed. he can put so much power into every step and every movement but at the same time he’s so graceful that it takes your breath away. idk how to explain it tbh just watch this 

2. now onto his personality, he’s now 22 yrs old but don’t let that fool you… he could honestly be a part of nct dream bc he’s such a kid

despite his super fierce stage persona, taeyong loves to play around and he’s so silly. if you’ve watched any of the nct life seasons you know what i mean! he’s so energetic all the time and always ready to joke around with the boys. he dances out of the blue a lot, and he hates the dentist although he enjoys sweets esp chocolate and likes studio ghibli movies. he plays overwatch too hah. he rlly rlly likes the minions lol refer to nct life in osaka ep 9 he was legit having the time of his life dancing with them even singing the lil tune and hugging them ahaha

OK BUT TAEYONG DOES THIS THING WHERE HE PUTS HIS ARM UP IN THE AIR ITS SO ADORABLE 

3. super super affectionate with his members and also fans

if anyone loves nct more than nctzens its taeyong ok. (refer to this) he’s the softest around his members like he’s always thinking of his members, even over himself. like he kisses mark on live tv, he makes sure the members are all seated before him and gives up his seat too, he is the official mother of the nct dream members, and he always compliments the boys its great. he loves to shower everyone with love i mean tae buys winwin icecream whenever he wants for gods sake

taeyong absolutely adores his fans, his eyes legit shine at fansigns. he never forgets his fans, he always thinks about fans from all over the world and never leaves them out :’((( he’s so so considerate he said nct decided to stop accept gifts from fans because us listening to their music and supporting them and loving them was enough. when asked whats different about nct fans he said: “they are different, they are the best. its a gathering of angels. they are really nice, also beautiful, have a warm heart, and passionate” are you cryin g bc i am? 

4. totally random but he’s very clean 

the boys talk about this a lot, he keeps his dorm clean and organized. if there’s a mess he’ll clean it up right away and he washes his hands a lot apparently. he even has a nickname taebreeze because he likes febreeze and will spray it around lol. OH and also he’s great at cooking he does a lot of the cooking in nct life (tbh taeyong is the full package tho?? talented, affectionate, kindhearted, clean, and a great cook)

I could go on and on, but this post is such a mess and its getting a bit lengthy already. hopefully this gives you an idea about our beautiful angel Taeyong!!
