two performances, more than half a decade apart

wanted to hurt myself with this one i guess, but i just wanted to say how intriguing and admirable it is the way kyo portrays his emotions for a performance. like of course it makes sense how insanely painful it must have been for him to perform zakuro back in the day because it was still raw, but the fact that he still manages to pull those emotions out from the deepest levels of his soul to perform it years later is so amazing, in the saddest way. (i’d also like to mention that i’m glad he doesn’t inflict hardcore physical pain onto himself when doing so anymore...which is a step closer to closure, i guess?) in conclusion, if the lyrics of the song come from pain, rage, and depression, kyo will never fail to emit those exact emotions no matter how old the song is, and that’s why he is the most talented performer/artist i’ve ever known.
