Asexual Evan Rosier x Asexual Dorcas Meadows (Devan)

I love the idea of Evan and Dorcas finding each other. They’re both asexual, and originate as close friends. They really connect over their sexualities, being what they’re pretty sure are the only two asexual people in Hogwarts and apparently the only two people who don’t give a fuck about sex. Dorcas also hates physical touch and affection, and Evan hates pet names, and so when they get together, literally no one notices.

They don’t tell anyone, not because they want to hide it, just because they simply don’t.

They fall in love with each other pretty fast, and the only time they get physical is in private. They’ll share the occasional bedtime cuddle when they move in together, but they’ll kiss most days. Just a little peck, nothing more really. Dorcas doesn’t love the idea of kissing at all, but she knows Evan likes it, so it makes her happy to give him a kiss every day.

Evans is not bothered by Dorcas’ lack of physical affection, because he feels her love in everything else she does. Though, when she does give him kisses and the occasional cuddle, he gets so excited because it really means a lot to him that she’s stepping out of her comfort zone to make him happy and actually enjoying it. She’ll only do what she’s comfortable with, putting the brakes on the moment she doesn’t like what happens, so Evan truly knows she’s not just making herself uncomfortable out of fear.

It takes literally months for all of their friends to realise they’re together. It only happens on one of their anniversaries when Dorcas hands him a bouquet of flowers and smiles at him, putting them both a little out of their comfort zone by being so public with the flowers (even though it’s literally just their friends around) but she just really wanted to give him the roses, and see his cheeks turn pink.

He handed her a mixtape he made for her in return, and that's when their friends lost their minds with the realisation that they were together.

They literally gave them all a weird look like “Yeah we’ve been together for ages, isn’t it obvious? He literally blushes sometimes. She literally giggles at my jokes occasionally.”

They’re happy for them, of course, but it’s genuinely shocking news. It was very not obvious.
