While Master Green has the misfortune of being stuck in Gaisorg armour all the time (it serves as a life support after the last time the Druidons came about), the other Masters are chill with this. Sure, Master Pink does ask if he doesn’t have to maintain hygiene or eat and all, but still, nothing will stop them from sitting in a circle like the old days and drinking sweetened water (aka wine) straight from the flask. Except for Master Green. That helmet can’t express anything on his face but you can pinpoint exactly when he’s craving to drink some sweetened water too

Apparently in their youth Master Pink had Master Blue and Master Black pining after her. It’s something she likes to bring up as a good old (but embarrassing) story - “remember when you two tried to spar for my hand but then I pinned you guys to the cliff and that made you chase after me harder” - “hey, this is the place where Blue tried to propose but Black managed to dig a hole and fall into it himself”

Due to the responsibility attached to his title, Red isn’t as lax as he used to be, and his friends miss it. To date, they have bets as to who’ll make Red laugh first every week. It was Green’s idea to do it. They use Ryusouls and traditional cookies, which their students also get in on because there are things like Fortune Ryusoul (giving one a glimpse of a good future and how to obtain it) and the best cookies in Japan up for grabs. Yes, even Banba. The person who usually wins is Blue because he makes the bet of “he won’t crack a smile" and that lasts for a streak of forty wins

It is a shame to say that all of them have never ventured outside their village and into regular human society. Pink adjusts without much trouble as there’s wonderful food and sights to be seen. The one who struggles the most is Green because the poor man ventured into a CD store once and got bombarded with children trying to pull off his armour. The others are rather neutral about it, but Red secretly delights in it and somehow no one notices the excuses he can make to see the “new world”

There is an urban myth that someone decided it was a fun idea to eat a Ryusoul. That was caused by no other than...Master Black. In his defense, he says while pinned to an arm chair, he wasn’t in his right mind thanks to “sweetened water” and he came to the conclusion once that perhaps eating a Ryusoul will give someone a permanent ability to see better/have flexible limbs/etc. Put two and two together and there goes a Ryusoul down his throat. Green claims that the Ryusoul is still inside Black’s body, and no one knows if they’re joking

Au what if Oto has a crush on Towa instead Melto

Instead of Melt being gentle and kind to Oto, we have Towa bonding with her as she wanders the surface. He also understands what it’s like to have an older sibling who can be protective, despite the contrary, and as he’s a good guy, it doesn’t take long for Oto to have her eyes on him to...have descendants. Let’s just say that Banba stares intently at Towa for a full week after that

It becomes habit for Oto to go straight to Towa and watch him train, or they hang out (i.e. eating ice cream, buying things, etc.)

Oto comes by often enough that even Banba starts to treat her as a younger sibling - buying a portion of food for her to eat, tucking her into a blanket and telling Kanaro that she’s resting for the night, etc. But he’s always going to change the topic if Oto says something like “it’s wonderful to know you like this, brother-in-law”

At one point, Oto gets asked by Kanaro why she likes Towa so much. She lists a bunch of reasons that get contradicted by Towa doing something else, and it adds more weight to the frown on her brother’s face

Oto gets in on the Ryusoul trading system despite not being a knight. Sometimes she can be seen playing games with Towa where the leverage is a Ryusoul. As a result Oto gets a lot of the Speed Souls, but she doesn’t mind because when she looks at them, she thinks of Towa’s quick footwork, and that’s when he’s the coolest
