Man, stuff started getting real this season-

Hawks actually was on the good side ( I was constantly tossing it up whether he was actually helping the heroes or villains, he’s a good actor)

All the students got used as free labour too- they should’ve been paid for what they did at the raids of the villain base and hospital since they were literally doing what pros do

Poor Yaoyorozu (probably spelt it wrong but close enough) probably thought she was a complete failure when the sedative didn’t work on Gigantomachia, only to learn that it kicked in later and allowed the people at the hospital to capture him

The doctor dude at the hospital constantly monologuing, if I was Present Mic I would’ve just went “Woops!” and bonked him on the head

Mirko’s crazy strong and cool as hell, she managed to mostly hold off 5 high-end nomu by herself

When Shigaraki wasn’t awake after the tube broke, the hero next to him should’ve just finished the job- like they aren’t technically supposed to kill (but Hawks did so is it really that bad) but it would’ve solved so many problems

Holy moly, Shigaraki jumped from level 4 to level 4 thousand-

Dabi definitely took villainous dance classes, don’t argue against the truth :)

Also- Dabi is actually the long lost Todoroki brother?!?!?!?!??

Poor Elsa was probably in emotional shreds but had to fight cause his father was having a crisis and ended up barbecued like Hawks

Eraser cut his leg off- how sharp was that knife!?!?!?? He didn’t even fully blink- definitely still my fav hero (his right arm better watch out though, he lost a leg and an eye on that side, it’s next on the chopping block-)

Off-topic, his outfit looked hella cool in the vigilante era, it went from a bunny with all curved lines to show “hii! I’m harmless!! :D” to something closer to a wolf with jagged, pointed lines. His boots looked like they had literal claws and screamed “DANGER”

Lady Nagant is cool, hopefully she survives. No clue what quirk AFO gave her that made her self-destruct

Before that though, when they were talking with Nezu and Endeavour they all wore their uniforms to look professional and Bakugo even wore a tie- shows just how important his Bunny is to him

Then like 5 of them pounced on Endeavour’s hand to get the GPS-

Bunny Boy so wanted to cry the entire time class A was trying to get him to stay still- they were all reminding him how he had helped them and it was such a “Remember who you are!” moment. He probably wanted to cry even more the longer his danger sense refused to go off, proving that they were doing this because they cared about him and that’s so beautiful-

i know you said that theyre platonic soulmates but its basically confirmed by the author (horokoshi) that theyre actually dating. bkdk (their ship name abrev. kinda) fanart won a fanart contest, his editors have confirmed that he knows what he's doing whenever he puts them in a semi-romantic setting. theres official fanart in japan of them catching flower petals (which you do with with a romantic partner) when bakugo makes a speech to deku later on (slight spoilers btw) the way he phrases it is like the way youd ask someone in japan to marry you. so yeah theyre basically dating lmao, and pretty much everyone in japan has said that they were dating and such. sooo yeah... sorry if this is so long lmao, i just went to a sleepover where my friend made a whole ass slideshow on this shit lol

I’ve stated in the past a few times—give or take—that I don’t like that Bakagou learned about One For All and thought I should explain why.

Below I’m going to be more than a bit critical of Bakagou so consider this a warning. I’m not exactly bashing him but I am calling out on his less appealing moments.

Most of what you’re about to read is based on feelings rather than logic as a result, while I’ve tried to be fair—most of this is petty. I am flat out admitting this. This is basically me saying, “I don’t like this” in a really long way. Just letting you know what you're getting into.

Right, let’s get the super petty stuff out of the way—Bakagou knowing about OFA intrudes on Dadmight time (thought I was kidding when I said petty? You were warned.). I don’t give two shakes about the romantic interaction in the series, but I do care about the parental relationships and All Might’s moments with Izuku are my favorite. The OFA meetings were where we got the most in-depth as they had a bond over a quirk the two of them shared as the two tried to unravel its secrets. Those moments however are interrupted by Bakagou who is just—there, being Bakagou.

This leads me to my next petty point; it forces him and Izuku to interact more and I hate their interactions. This is a good chunk of why I don’t like that Bakagou learned about OFA. Bakagou acts at his worst when he’s around Izuku. Even after Bakagou finally talked about his feelings shounen style he’s still a petty jerk to Izuku just like before. The only difference is that Izuku isn’t flinching as much. Bakagou still acts like an asshole to Izuku and now he’s extending that to All Might as well.

At the OFA meetings not only is it obvious that he does not want to be there, but Bakagou mocks OFA. Not only that, but he scoffs at the previous OFA users who gave up EVERYTHING to stand against All For One because they didn’t have “cool quirks.” This including Nana, All Might’s teacher who was like a mother to him and died defending him. But let’s give Bakagou a little slack on that last point as he most likely had no idea (though let's be honest that wouldn’t have deterred him at all). Oh, and he has no qualms about laughing at the idea of Izuku DYING which is kind of a sore point for many fans due to the incident in chapter one.

Everything about their interactions just rubs me the wrong way, even worse All Might sees all this and thinks they’re such great friends. Ugh. I know a lot of people see a lot of chemistry between the two to which I say—good for you. Enjoy. I, on the other hand, see a brat acting like an asshole. And instead of calling him out the people around not only ignore it, but they praise him for said attitude and the story rewards him for it.

Speaking of being rewarded for asshole behavior, let’s talk about HOW he learned about OFA, shall we?

Now, I’ll be fair here and admit that after their first lesson with All Might Bakagou had thought that Izuku was lying to him for years. He thought the other was making a fool of him by letting Bakagou beat him up all these years without ever using a quirk. (No seriously. That’s why he’s mad.) I understand that he felt lied to and while it doesn’t make me feel an ounce of sympathy for him I also understand why he felt that way. Izuku felt bad about Bakagou’s feelings so he decided to be as honest as he could.

Izuku telling Bakagou that he got his quirk from someone would annoy me under normal circumstances as after years of bullying and belittling he didn’t owe Bakagou shit, but I could live with it. It would be like getting a mosquito bite; it’s annoying, but I can deal with it, no problem.

HOWEVER. This scene came after one of Bakagou’s worst moments in the manga. Bakagou used the training exercise to viciously beat and maim Izuku before releasing a MURDER MOVE on him. This wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment thing either. Bakagou planned the attack from the beginning, then he unleashed it knowing that if Izuku had dodged the wrong way it would have killed him. And he wasn’t crazy either; Bakagou did it all with a calm, “rational” mind. Even when Izuku collapsed in front of him possibly blinded from an explosion to the face, Bakagou doesn’t care. All that he cares about is that he lost to Deku. That was his only concern.

Yet after disregarding his partner, putting their grade at risk, injuring another student, AND using a death attack (which also put Tenya and Ochaco at risk depending on the damage to the structure) not only is he not punished for his actions, but he’s comforted by All Might and Izuku, then rewarded with the first clue to the biggest secret of the series. This is just all sorts of fucked up here.

Then there’s when he is let in on the secret completely. I actually don’t begrudge Bakagou for dragging Izuku out after curfew. I get it; he’s in emotional turmoil because he believes that All Might lost his powers because of him and he just failed the hero exam. He’s high on emotions and doesn’t know how to handle them, and this is shounen world where therapist don’t exist, so I can forgive him for the fight which resulted in Izuku getting in trouble on a day that started out so happy.

But then he learns the secret of OFA from All Might and there was no need! So he knew that All Might gave Izuku a quirk, so WHAT? Why did he know the rest?

And we follow the yellow brick road to my next reason; There is no reason for him to know about One For All. It doesn’t help his relationship with Izuku, he doesn’t contribute anything to the meetings except belittle the previous predecessors and mock Izuku and All Might, it doesn’t help with his development, and worse, it doesn’t contribute to the plot.

If you cut Bakagou from the OFA secret everything would still be the same. Izuku would still learn what he did about One For All—maybe more so, Bakagou could still have his chat with All Might about his past “guilt” about Izuku, and he still could have followed Izuku to fight Shigaraki, only now he would be doing it just to protect Izuku and NOT to protect All Might’s quirk. Everything he contributes could have been done without knowing about OFA and all those acts would have more meaning.

As of now, the knowledge gives a double meaning to Bakagou's relationship with Izuku. Maybe Bakagou does in his own… Bakagou way cares about after Izuku listened to him break down. After all, at one point he did sort of stand up to All Might for him. However, those feelings are in conflict with his desire to surpass the “chosen one and take his progress and make it his own.”

Because Bakagou knows about OFA all his actions come off as less actually wanting to help Izuku and more that he wants to protect “All Might’s Quirk” so he can beat it one day. Bakagou’s dream was always to surpass All Might, however, All Might lost his powers, so he’s settled for “helping” and protecting Izuku so he can have the next best thing and defeat One For All at full power. This thought underlines everything Bakagou does to help Izuku and adds a manipulation tactic to his “help.”

If Bakagou had never learned about OFA then all his actions would have so much more meaning. He wouldn’t be helping Izuku just because he has All Might’s power, he would be doing it because he cares about Izuku—even if he just wanted to beat him one day, the focus would be on Izuku and not OFA.

So, to recap here are my reasons why I hate that Bakagou knows about One for all;

*He ruins Dadmight and Izuku time

*I hate his interactions with Izuku

*He’s an ass at the meetings

*The way he learned the secret comes off as rewards for villainous behavior

*There’s no reason for him to know about OFA

*It adds nothing to the story. All the things he contributes could have been done by anybody.

*It undermines his attempts to make nice with Izuku as he’s more focused on OFA than Izuku.

There are a few more reasons, but they’re not worth typing about. So, this is the conclusion of “why I hate that Bakagou knows about OFA.”

If you think differently and that Bakagou deserved to learn about OFA and that it helps the story—good for you. I’m glad canon is pleasing someone with this storyline. I however am not pleased with it and I never will be unless a big surprise happens. But my opinions won’t change anything, so enjoy what you enjoy.

Aizawa and All Might -- ABO Headcanons

All Might was the last teacher to find out that Aizawa was an Omega. Nemuri and Hizashi took bets to see how long it would take him. Nemuri won. (Toshinori was the newest teacher but with the time length, he took the longest).

Toshinori likes to make homemade bento boxes for his students after they went through a heat or rut. Aizawa will add things he knows the students like (he doesn’t tell Toshinori). The students love it.

Sometimes, the students will seek out Toshinori just to spend some time with him. Rather it’s sitting in silence outside at night or having a cup of tea. Like Aizawa said, he brings hope to the world just being there. Toshinori didn’t believe it at first. Now he does.

Midoriya was the first one to say that Toshinori was the “pack dad”.

Todoroki’s All Might Love Child theory also contained the similar scents that Toshinori and Midoriya share. Midoriya couldn’t explain this. Toshinori had to tell him. (This is based off the Midoriya’s scent changes due to One for All)

Aizawa lets the students have giant sleep overs in the common room as long as if they don’t destroy anything. (Bakugou)

When not by Aizawa’s side, Eri spends most of her time with Midoriya and the Dekusquad.

Toshinori is actually the reason Aizawa gets called “pack mom”, he made a joke that Kaminari overheard and it took off from there.

Aizawa sometimes panicks when the Alpha students go into rut because they can’t control their Alphas fully yet so he calls Toshinori. (The Alphas unknowingly use Alpha commands, which Aizawa doesn’t get effected by easily but it effects the Beta and Omega students).

Aizawa suffers from migraines due to his quirk so Toshinori will make him go take a nap. The class makes sure to listen to Toshi because they don’t want to face the wrath of an angry Omega. (Omegas can be terrifying.)

Aizawa was almost sent into an Omega Frenzy (equivalent of an Alpha Rage) at the USJ when Shigaraki tried to kill Asui. He managed to get control of himself at last second.

Aizawa gets easily angered if someone tries to insult or downplay one of his students. (example: Uraraka v. Bakugou).

Toshinori panics when the students come to him for advice about their dynamics (he spent almost all of his time as a hero and really only focused on that so he didn’t take the time to learn much about dynamics. He knows the basics) He will secretly text Aizawa and get the answers. Toshinori gets better though. He took up studying dynamics after his retirement.

Aizawa actually likes Toshinori’s scent because it’s not a typical “Alpha” scent. It’s closer to a Beta scent.

Toshinori is nine out of ten times the “good cop” while Aizawa is the “bad cop”. Aizawa secretly loves this but also hates it cause he doesn’t always want to be the bad guy when it comes to discipline.

Aizawa and Toshinori both have faced off against Endeavor about his intolerance about Todoroki being an Omega. They don’t like that Endeavor forced Todoroki to act as something he wasn’t.

Aizawa both hates and loves the “Kaminari Guessing Game”. Kaminari has yet to pick out his scent. He gets mistaken for Shinsou and Todoroki a lot.

Toshinori can’t stand Alphas who think Beta and Omegas are underneath them and force commands against them. (He’s had to have a talk with Iida before because Iida sometimes does it without realizing it, the command part anyway.)

Aizawa once caught Kirishima seeing if he could do Alpha commands on Bakugou (which Bakugou agreed too). It didn’t work but Aizawa wasn’t prepared for it and fell under the command. Toshinori had to snap him out of it.

Toshinori usually takes charge of the Alphas of the class while Aizawa takes the Omegas. The Betas just fall in line with either of them.

Toshinori has had to use commands on Bakugou to calm him down in class cause Bakugou sent himself into a Rage. This happens more than Toshinori wants to tell Aizawa.

Aizawa has an “emergency” box for his students in his classroom and dorm. It’s got blankets and snacks.

The only time Aizawa loses control of his dynamic is when he is sick. This actually makes his students panic because they don’t know he’s sick because he doesn’t want them to worry. Which makes them worry.

Toshinori is the reason that Aizawa shows his “Omega Side” more.

Ashido taught Eri to call Aizawa “mom” and Toshinori “dad”. This made Aizawa really mad the first time. He gave up trying to fix it. Eri calls Aizawa “dad” too. It alternates depending on who Eri spent time with that day.

After finding out Aizawa’s preferred “heat snack”, Toshinori now delivers cat shaped fruit to Aizawa’s homeroom.

(I’m not sure if you wanted Erasermight too or just Dadzawa and Dadmight headcanons. I’m going to work on some more later but I got stuff I have to do but I wanted to get you some at least! If you want some more, definitely send me another message! I’ll be happy to do more for you!)

WIPs and Ideas

This is kind of a collection of things I’ve been working on / ideas that I have. Some have been posted, some haven’t been. This list is *just* going to be projects I have in mind for BNHA and will not include other fandom pieces that are in the wings. This is because BNHA is basically consuming my life and until I return to a modicum of ‘balance’ it’s probably the only thing I’ll be writing consistently for.

Everything’s under the cut! because it’s uh. Long.

Burden to Bear [Here]- Most of you know this one! Bio!dadmight, Izuku has a mutated quirk alongside one for all. Izuku continues on his path to follow in his father’s footsteps, and Inko is... unhappy that both of the people she cares the most about have no sense of self preservation.

Currently we just finished Kamino Ward. Ah, I can say without providing too many spoilers that I have up to the internship arc planned with some stuff that has to happen after that, so there’s a significant amount left in the story.

Wingbeat of a Butterfly - TodoDeku; bio!dadmight time travel AU. Adult pro heroes Duality and Deku are hit by an unknown quirk and they disappear from their world, only to wake up in the bodies of their teenage selves. They begin preparing immediately for the horrors that await them in the future while struggling to prevent anyone from catching on that things are not what they should be. Chaos ensues eventually. This is planned as my primary project after Burden to Bear.

Brittle Glass Beneath my Skin - Kidnapped!Villain Izuku, possible bio!dadmight, possibly not. Izuku was gifted a quirk by AFO, but also is under the influence of a number of quirks and carefully managed handling to ensure his near-complete loyalty. By the time he resurfaces it may be too late to save him, but will that stop All Might from trying? (No it absolutely will not). I’m considering adding a level of pain and memory sharing soulmate to this AU, but I haven’t actually.... decided that.

The Secrets Between Us - This is an extremely dark soulmate AU centering on Todoroki and Midoriya. It's loosely (very loosely) based on the premise of Kimi no Na Wa ("Your Name") in that they swap bodies with each other when they sleep regularly. The similarities basically end there. This story will explore a heightened level of abuse in the Todoroki home and the effects that has on Shouto as well as on Izuku who is forced to keep those secrets too.

Razor Thin Line - This is a project that is actually the first thing I thought of when I started watching BNHA, somewhere around the Stain arc. I’m biding my time on it because I don’t know if I can do it justice. It’s meant to be a series of short(er) fics that examine the thin line between heroes and villains and between good and evil. The first installment is intended to heavily feature Shouto/Endeavor/Touya(Dabi). I’m open to suggestions of other heroes/villains/ideas to explore!

Rise from the Ashes - Vigilante Todoroki Siblings (all of them!). They are free from Endeavor, but only for as long as they can evade capture. Basically Touya takes his siblings with him when he runs away, and they grow up a little rougher than they may have otherwise, but together.

Sins of the Father [Here] - This was not supposed to be a multi-shot but uh. What can I say except my brain ran with it. Angsty Dad for One. All Might becomes acutely aware of the fact that his nemesis has a family. Enjoy the slight cliffhanger oneshot and be happy in the knowledge it will grow at some point. P:

Untitled Fantasy AU - Inspired by an AU that @thatfunkyopossum talked about with me one day (because I came forward with tododeku fantasy askldjfsdkljf xD) Prince Shouto, Genie Izuku, Rebel Leader Touya. Vague premise is that Shouto receives an ornate box with a puzzle lock as a birthday gift and he eventually opens it to find... a tiny genie Izuku who offers him the standard three wishes. Things get uh, Interesting.

I’ve also got some plans for a TodoDeku Swan Princess Au. But it’s just a vague.... idea right now.

AND

Writing Stuff!

On top of NaNo prep (checking over an outline, mostly) and working on the next BTS chapter I now have a BNHA fic half-outlined and another one in the pre-outline notes process. I’m a terrible person and have way too many projects I want to get going on. lmao

Program is ‘Dabble’ and I love it. I can flip between my projects without it taking more than 15 seconds to load what I need. And as you can see... Ive got a lot of ‘em. lolol. Started using it in the beta that came out pre-nano last year and it’s only gotten better since then. Anyway!

All my stuff is posted here on Ao3 - AerisLei. There are actually some finished works on there, Lol. And if you like my writing and are feeling extremely generous I have a ko-fi here.

Here we have a listing of my current works in progress in their various states. If they are partially published I’ll link to them.

Burden To Bear - DadMight AU in which Izuku is actually all might’s son, and knows it, but All Might hasn’t allowed the information to go public. There is some drama surrounding that bc what a self-esteem blow that is ok. Izuku is believed to be quirkless pre-receiving One for All, but actually isn’t. [This is in the Pre-Outline stage]

Beyond the Sun - YoI fic, One year post season 1. Victurri are living together in St. Petersburg when a rash of threats against Yuuri begins to stir things up for the both of them. There is lots of cute tucked in among the rest. [It’s roughly half completed and posted.]

Razor Thin Line - A Tododeku beginning prior to the dorm system being put in place. Title is a reference to the “razor thin line between good and evil” that I referenced about a million times in my liveblog of MHA. [Outlined, mostly]

C&I: Red Like Roses - This is my NaNo project. It’s a retelling of RWBY with lots of adjustments made throughout. It’s outlined fully and has about the first 2 chapters done, none of it will be posted until after NaNoWriMo. It is expected to ‘end’ at the end of season three, and then go from there in the second ‘Part’.

Come What May - Victuuri fic. Picks up right after the GPF. Consider it on temporary hiatus at least until BTS is completed - the next chapter is pretty much written, even but I’ve wanted to focus on BTS to try and get it done. This is a different fic following their relationship. Victor has a sister in this one so if that kind of OC is not your thing this won’t be your cup of tea. References to past Victor/Giacometti as well.

Of Faeries and Angels - Shadowhunters fic. This started out as a Helen Blackthorn character study, and let’s just say it got out of hand. Helen and Mark become parabatai in this story, and there’s a rash of murders that are being investigated. This one is also on temporary hiatus, because there are a few things that need to be restructured and some choices about how to go forward I need to make that haven’t been made.

[Not] Your Sacrifice - Actually a series title, RWBY based. Consists of ‘Fractured Memories’ which is scattered scenes from the past and ‘Revealed By Mirrored Eyes’ which picks up at the end of the Fall of Beacon. RBME is mostly outlined whereas by nature Fractured Memories is just a list of ideas for oneshots. [If you have any Qrow & Taiyang or Qrow and the girls centric ideas, I’m willing to take requests for Fractured Memories. My only hard rule is no ship-centric stuff.]

Born to Make History - This one is another series. It’s supposed to be a three-part following first Viktor through his young life, and then Yuuri through his. And then covering the space they occupy together, so to speak. It’s mostly an errant idea and at this point I have no idea if it will be written. What may end up happening is that it’s a single ‘work’, and have them as more abstract reflections on the lives they led rather than a series detailing their lives and careers. ... Like I said, it’s a nebulous project that’s more an ‘idea’ than a thing I’ve figured out. Won’t be touched until both BTS and CWM are finished.
