Not me simping for my own design with this one oml.

- I've seen quite a few people headcanon Vil as Desi and I agree. I also view her as technically genderfluid but she normally presents very fem and is on occasion like, "Hm, masculine pronouns today."

- I was going to keep the blonde and make her have some root colour showing but it wasn't looking right. To be honest, she's slaying with the darker hair though.

- Made his eyes a deeper, purple-y blue and their earrings were a gift from Rook as they match her eyes almost perfectly.

- Totally a mother hen, keep in mind I literally have hardly seen her yet but I /think/ that's canon lol?

- Fashion nerd and could list the eras of different fashion trends and famous designers off the top of their head.

- Not a fan of physical activity, just does it to be in fit shape. She actually really likes to read nonfiction and love art history as well.

- Met Rook as first years and they bonded immediately. Probably the first person that Vil really clicked with.

Quick comment: Why does he look so fcuking weird w/out his hat in-game??? I have his ceremonial robes card and if he didn't already scare me, he definitely does now. I think my version looks a little less weird. Anyways, side tangent over.

- I kept his fuck-ass bob, it's simply too iconic, though I gave it a bit more volume and shape. You can decide if he's a natural blonde or not lol.

- I headcanon him to be Chinese and French, and he grew up bilingual. Has a hell of and accent and when he gets upset, they just swap to either Chinese or French, it's a fifty-fifty depending on the day.

- They're not super visible but the bow and arrow earrings were a gift from Vil to celebrate Rook winning an archery competition. I think it was pretty early in their friendship but that's when Rook registered her feelings for Vil.

- For as open as Rook is about finding others attractive, it gets nervous to directly compliment Vil to her face. This is more obvious with saying "I love you," which he doesn't mind tossing out to most people, it's just really personal toward Vil so they avoid saying it lol.

- Most of the compliments that Rook gives Vil are things Vil is already aware of so Rook doesn't chance bringing up all the things they love about Vil. (Can you tell I love them?)

(he/him) Transmasc - Gay

*Breaks out the southern accent* Y'all thought the others thus far have been long, hoo boy... Y'all are in for a real treat.

- Firstly, my boy is transmasc. I feel like that's pretty widely accepted 'round these parts but I figured I should shout it out anyways.

- I made him mixed, Scandinavian? and Japanese and gave him some brown eyes to boot. Kept his face real dainty but gave him broader shoulders and a farmer's tan 'cause y'all know he's working at his parent's farm every summer.

- He's styled in like, the southern goth aesthetic and I added some green to his hair 'cause the 'poison' part of 'poisoned apple' wasn't coming across enough. By the way, his grandma dyes her hair in solidarity with him. She's cool. Be like Epel's grandma.

- When he first arrived at NRC, he only had his lobes pierced, then he saw Jade's piercings and was like "I want that,". Jade directed him to Cater, who gave him all his other piercings (not at the same time lmao). Everytime he got a new one, Vil would have a minor heart attack lol.

- I think he'd also actually really like cute things, one of the reasons he lets Vil doll him up for so long, but hates bringing it up 'cause people call him 'girly' or 'feminine' for it. This is another underlying factor for my Jack/Epel dynamic but I'll save that for later.

- Speaking of Savanaclaw, I think he has plans to transfer at the beginning of sophomore year. Also, because he hangs around Jack so much, they kinda consider him a part of the pack. In particular, Epel also really looks up to Leona and approached him in Spelldrive Club about transferring. Leona agreed and took notice of Epel's admiration and if he puts a little more effort into practise afterwards, that's no one's business. (I think he's be like, "Goddammit, these kids keep looking up to me... I should at least give them something worth looking up to." Only the MC would know, and probably Ruggie would notice just having know Leona.) Also, Epel saw Leona's chaps and immediately wanted a pair. Leona took him out to get some and when they got back, Vil was horrified lmao.

I love Epel/Savanaclaw dynamic sm omg but onto my ocs... (Also, I really hope y'all read that with a southern accent, I think it's hilarious lol)

💋Calendula Dame💋

Third Year - (she/her) - Sapphic Aromantic

- She's twisted from Mother Gothel, who, can I just say, SLAYED in her movie ong. Though Disney really needs work on their representation, specifically the fact that her character is very Jewish-coded (I don't think she's canonically Jewish but please correct me if I'm wrong) but is portrayed in an anti-Semitic way, feeding into negative stereotypes. I'm not the most knowledgeable person to speak on this issue and I know it's been throughly discussed by others so please feel free to research it. I did have a friend who is Jewish help me make her character and I hope I did her justice!

- I made her Jewish, specifically Ashkenazi and conservative. I'm not quite sure yet how this would translate into Twisted Wonderland but we'll see.

- She's all about makeup products and she and Vil compare skincare routines in a sort of friendly competition.

- Another fun nod is she loves gardening. Namely flowers but occasionally crops and herbs. She's got her own little plot in the greenhouse and she and Epel discuss gardening tips together.

- She's also a nail artist and quite skilled at that. She has a small 'business' and is especially booked around school events.

🦚Tupac Huamani🦚

Second Year - (he/him) Transmasc - Pan-Demiromantic

The one man I've made this whole time lmaooo.

- Tupac is my Yzma twist! His name is Incan, ironically meaning 'royal', as I figured out The Emperor's New Groove is inspired by Incan culture!

- He's the most flamboyant twink to ever walk the earth and I love him for that. That being said, he and Rocío are my token 'heteros'. They've been friends since first year and get along extremely well. He's got book smarts but literally no common sense. She has no common sense either and so they j st get into silly shenanigans together. I love them sm my little sillies.

- He's more into dramatic makeup and loves to do Rocío's because she's not into makeup and doesn't really know how to do it lol. He's also made her get a nice skincare routine which she follows diligently as she likes routines.

- Probably a part of the Boardgame Club, though I'm not sure how well he does. He probably just enjoys hanging out with the people and the banter rather than the games themselves, though I think he'd be very good at chess and other strategy games.

🐈‍⬛Chaisee Noi🐈‍⬛

First Year - (he/she/it) Genderfluid - Asexual Aromantic

- The first of a set of twins twisted from the Siamese twins in Lady and the Tramp (I think that's what they're in, it's been a hot sec lol). I made them mixed, Black and Thai as Siamese cats originate from Thailand.

- Onto Chaisee specifically, I think he's the 'black cat' personality out of the two of them. She's on the more reserved side and is more blunt and to the point than his sibling is. Also autistic and has particular issues with loud noise and food textures. Not a fan of physical contact and hates being touched without permission.

- He like to fluxuate between masc and fem styles a lot (with the fem pictured here) and enjoys suits for formal wear.

- While it's into fashion, he likes to be more of a rough sketch and designer than actually doing the sewing. Her designs are quite avant-garde and lean into lots of floral patterns.

- She and Nasira work together to come up with different floral arrangements, both for Chaisee's designs and for Nasira's dorm.

First Year - (they/them) Nonbinary - Pansexual

- Churai is the 'tabby' cat energy one. They're very affectionate and full of energy. They love to help out others and are constantly doing things with other people.

- A hands-on person, Churai loves sewing and is a part of the sewing club. They tend to be the primary person to work on their sibling's designs because of the level of detail needed.

- ADHD and has to be doing something at all times. Because of this, they have a TON of hobbies, ranging from scrap-booking to fishing to reading about random topics. Gets along incredibly well with Kalim and they love hanging out with him. Also a very touchy person, loves hugs and cuddles!

- Their style is more on the feminine side and they love making cute dresses to wear. Definitely takes a lot of inspiration from the gyaru and harujuku fashion scenes.

⚡Corentin Benoit⚡

First Year - (she/her) - Asexual Aromantic

Last of my Pomefiore characters and second of the triplets, Corentin Benoit!

- The technical oldest of the triplets and she holds that over their heads. She's was both happy and not to be in a different dorm than her younger siblings.

- Looks up to Hestia a lot and wants to be like her when she grows up (as if Hestia know what she's doing but yk).

- She's particularly interested in the poison aspect of Pomefiore and is keen to eventually become housewarden. As such, she's asked for Vil's help to learn as much as she can about making them.

I don't have a lot for her yet but god, this has taken so fcuking long to write omg. I hope y'all liked it! Ignihyde is next!~

On Kazuya's and Jun's Love Languages

I really love this ship with all my heart like I think I shipped them way before I have known what shipping meant. It's so frustrating that we really don't know much about their relationship and dynamic in canon but I can't help but wonder what they would've been like as a couple >.<

For me, personally, I really do think that Kazuya and Jun are both suckers on Quality Time. I feel like once they felt their attraction to the other, they kept longing to be in each other's presence, and at first Kaz was probably like "I just have to know more about her because she's mysterious." and shit like that like hunny, just say you're crushing on her ����

Jun probably thought the same like "I need to be in his presence because of the darkness that surrounds him." Just say he's hot and you wanna date him, girl.

When they do hang out together, they make the most out of their time and just really let themselves get lost in the moment. It probably also supports that no matter how short the KOIFT 2 was, it was enough quality time for them to bond with each other enough for them to fall in love or get closer to one another or however viewers wanna interpret it (as we wait for tk8 to confirm wth happened between them in tk2).

Kazuya's secondary love language - I think I'm leaning mostly on Acts of Service. He probably isn't aware because he just thinks he's doing people a favor, but unconsciously, it's his way to show that he cares about the people he values. Like that man helped Bruce seek refuge after the plane crash and fake his death so he doesn't get caught by interpol. Hell he even granted Anna her request of being put in cryo sleep.

Doing acts of service to express his love for Jun was probably the most convenient and easiest way he could ever express how much he cares about her. Other love languages are just too explicit so he mostly tries to reason to himself that 'he's just doing Jun a favor' but it's probably him doing his best to get the message across that he truly values her so he's willing to do such things for her.

I can just imagine Jun having a bad day, and Kaz, being the man that he is who sucks with speaking comforting words and probably never initiated physical affection to anyone, gets up from his seat and goes "I'll show you some of the floras in the Mishima Estate garden since you love ecology so much." and then hopes she'll feel better. "I'll go get Lee to fix those papers you need for your work." or maybe even when they're sparring, Kazuya would always be the one to get her a bottle of water and a towel to wipe her sweat off with, since Jun is probably out of breath and needs more time to recover.

Jun's secondary love language - Words of Affirmation. Have ya'll just seen the sappiest ass shit she says to Kazuya in her tk8 intros and outros and even in Tekken Motion Picture like girlie has a helluva lot to say and she is so valid so let her speak 🗣️

Tekken Bloodline (tho non canon ugh) also kinda portrays Jun being comforting with words with the way she talks to Jin after his encounter with the bullies. Jun is seen as having some kind of profound sense of wisdom which enables her to empathize and feel people due to her being psychic and also spending most of her time during childhood getting in touch with nature. So I think with that, she always has the right words to say, and she knows exactly how to put into words how much she cares for a person. Plus she's an INFJ (lol).

Kazuya probably wouldn't have let her in his life had Jun not said the right words upon meeting him. Kazuya being in such a powerful position during TK2 had him surrounded with people who only spoke of deceit and lies to get to his good side and all that, and seeing how genuine Jun was with her words and how much it deeply soothed some of his inner wounds may have deepened the way he saw her. Thus, they became closer.

I do like to think that even though Jun is good with her words, she never really got the guts to outright say I love you to Kazuya 😩 I think she be too shy and bashful for that but argh with a little bit more of delulu to the ship, maybe I can convince myself that she did. Objectively speaking really, I don't think she could ever have said it during TK2.

Honorable mentions to Jun's secondary love language - Physical touch. Like idkkkkk, probably just me but I think I got it from somewhere that her tk8 outro literal translation kinda says she wants to snuggle up to Kazuya, and that is just so sweet 😩 im crying

Wth does an "adult relationship" mean?!?

I just saw a post from that el/riel page on instagram, talking about how Elain and Azriel would have an "adult relationship"...

I read their points and... my god- I'm so hoping that Sjm will not make el/riel endgame because the book would just bore the hell out of me.

What? The couple isn't allowed to do childish things? To have some fun? Don't they know what most adults actually do? Adults don't just pay bills, have sex and work. That would be so sad.

Nah- uh! I already don't ship el/riel due to how bland they are. Now I really don't want that couple to happen.

And then apperantly El/riel are already in love... so a 900 pages long book of secret sex, some politics, shy glances and finger brushes, one jealousy moment and then finally the confession. The end.

And Azriel showing his overprotectiv side more to Elain? Hell nah.

I'm sorry to dissapoint, but Sarah’s isn't a fan of bland relationships just because they have good sex. Have a look at every sjm couple that are endgame (Feysand, Rowaelin, Bryathalar etc.) They do and say silly things that this person would consider "childish". Again- WTF IS AN ADULT RELATIONSHIP?!

Having fun and doing silly things does not make the relationship "childish" as they claim to be. When you can do those so-called childish things with your partner, that means you have a great bond with them. Something deeper than just attraction for a couple of fucks.

I'm really curious to know what an "adult relationship" means, too. Because, if anything fun and silly is considered "childish" in their eyes, then my parents, wearing matching Disney pyjamas each Christmas, and who are in their 40s, don't have an "adult relationship", right?

But yeah, El/riel definitely has an adult relationship and they're so in love. My life and romantic expectations have not been the same since the most romantic line I've ever read in my entire life: "He hadn't gotten that far with his planning, certainly not beyond the fantasies he pleasured himself to". It's sad they don't see what's wrong with this. We've been in Azriel's head. The only time. We know exactly what he's thinking. And yes, clearly, he is attracted to Elain... but that's all? Their story would never be about choosing love over a bond because Azriel's only motive to go after her is because he believes she should be his mate. His brothers are mated to her sisters, so, in his mind, it's only natural he should be mated to Elain, right? Even if they ended up together somehow, Azriel's fixation with the bond would not fade, because it's already there when he thinks of the middle Archeron sister. The moment Azriel found his mate would also be the moment he left Elain.

Also, I can't with those that claim the bonus chapter means nothing, because it was not accessible to many readers. Like?? Do they realise that, for Azriel's story, it's the most important part so far? Because, again, it's his point of view? Not Feyre's, not Cassian's, not Nesta's, not Rhysand's - it's his. There was not even one tiny romantic thought about her. He never went on about how he saw her as a person, how he cares about her, how he'd fight to no end for her; no. He just thinks about eating her kitty and how his hands would soil her perfect skin. Why do they keep claiming they're in love? They're obviously attracted to each other. That is undeniable. But attraction does not equal love. One person can be attracted to another without loving them.

Everyone can ship who they want, as I've said. But at least they should stop embarrassing themselves with theories calling a Gwynriel relationship childish, making Gwyn evil just because, calling us paedophiles because they refuse to listen to the freaking author who, once again, confirmed Gwyn is a grown woman and so on.

Oh my gosh, anon, I'm so sorry that you didn't like this episode!!! While I completely feel the point you listed, it didn't stop that episode to be one of my faves, so I just feel like I should explain myself (yeah I just needed an excuse to ramble about that episode you got me)

This got a little long so I put it under a cut for the dash’s sake

Okay so first of all, 100% agreed, the Roxane cliffhanger was wayyyyy over the top and random and very TF1 (that is NOT a compliment 😅), I was shocked too. Considering what happens in the last episode, I understand the need to bring some ~drama~ to the table and to kinda poke Karadec where it hurts, but I don’t think going for a such a cliché and dramatic final scene was necessary. That is not my favourite part, except that I do have a soft spot for characters going through hell together so the fact that Morgane and Karadec are left to deal with the situation together at the very end kind of makes me go 😍😍😍

Not sure what you meant by plot what plot, if you’re referring to the case, I agree it was bonkers and am coming back to it later. If that’s about the character’s personal lives, I guess I agree it was pretty nonsensical but not more than in previous episodes? Idk I feel like Morgane kiiiiinda moved forward in her life by finding a house and slowly winning her son’s affection back? Now the birthday party was totally random (again: these people have zero personal life outside of work lol) but it was kind of fun to see the team in a non-precinct context.

Now the dancing scene. Wow. Where do I start? Okay, so I definitely vibe with your theory that it’s juste a Morgane fever dream. The whole scene feels completely eery (the close-ups et al. do NOT help with that), and I do agree that it’s wildly out of character for Karadec to do this, BUT he literally told Morgane “let’s create your first good memory here together, baby”, I mean he actually said that, after which I rightfully died from a heart explosion, so the bottom line is I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE OOC-NESS BECAUSE THIS IS LITERALLY THE MOST ROMANTIC THING HE’S EVER DONE WITH HER 😱😱😱 😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥💖💖💖

Also the fact that you pointed out that the scene felt out of character sent me down a rabbit hole of questioning re why Karadec would do that (I assume you meant ooc for him, because at this point I believe Morgane would be down for anything lol), and I think that the only possible explanation is that he genuinely bonded with her when she lived at his place (I mean, he did act really nice then, re the pasta scene) which leads him to behave like an actual friend with her now, and seeing how distressed she was about moving in her new house, he wanted to do something nice. Also my theory is that he’s been completely head over heels for her since the bathroom almost-kiss + her being single again, BUT he’s not actually aware of that, so basically him asking her to dance is the only way he’s found to unconsciously channel his attraction to her.

Which ties with the fact that they’re both blatantly aroused after dancing together (Morgane’s breathing sounds like she just orgasmed, and Karadec’s first move is to bootycall his girlfriend???), ahfioahaohzauohzduhaziduhui WTF IS THIS SHOW??????????? 😭❤️😍😂😱🤦🥵🔥🙊💖🤣🤭😩🤯🤩🙈🥳

Actually I have the same love/hate relationship with the dancing scene as I have with the toothbrush scene. It’s just very awkward, and out of nowhere, somehow painful to watch but at the same time swoon-inducing, y’know? It feels OOC but also it’s terribly them because you CANNOT expect these two dummies to do anything normal about their (non)-relationship.

Plus Les démons is one of my favourite songs but we’re not talking about that... And I absolutely agree that Morgane’s reprise of the song alone at the club at the end was heartbreaking (as was, like, idk, ALL THE SAD PUPPY EYES SHE GAVE KARADEC ALL NIGHT WHILE HE WAS OBLIVIOUSLY GROPING HIS GF?????), as well as the handprint being brought back in that moment. The handprint is actually a symbolic thread that I really liked, since Karadec meant it as a happy/fun memory for Morgane but it very quickly becomes something tragic for her because it symbolizes her own heartbreak over him, and something something about torment and delusion and walls having litteral memory... I don’t know I just really really like this. Also do you think it could be a twisted ref to Titanic?? 👀👀

Speaking of that club scene, you know what I really hated about this episode??? The reveal that Karadec has absolutely no notion of musical taste!! I'm sorry but Femme like U is a CURSED song that nobody should be allowed to use, especially for such a cheesy gratuitous karaoke moment (tis a CXG ref btw)!!! The Terrific Trio is always here to save the day, Céline’s rant when she couldn’t find where the body had gone absolutely killed me, and I’d buy that Gillles chante Goldman album tbh! There’s absolutely room for a Gilles x Karadec ship, also it’s getting more and more obvious that Gilles has a total crush on Karadec and keeps fangirling over him and their professional partnership so y’know... #makegilleskaradec2k22

The car scene as the beginning was... weird imo, lol, because the close-ups on Karadec’s lips, hands, etc, felt like someone drunk-tried to depict female-gaze while having only theoretically read about it in books? But I liked how the show unsubtetly stressed on Morgane’s obsession with Karadec, haha!

Now for the other parts that I liked about this episode:

The birthday card. The scene where Morgane reacts to everyone’s bday note to Karadec legit had me in tears, this was so funny 🤣🤣 Also can we talk about the fact that Morgane said out loud “Adam I love you”???? CAN WE???? 😱😱😱

The case. Okay, this investigation was complete bananas. How did the husband did not realize his wife never was pregnant? This scenario sounds like a Maupassant 19th century short story, you know one of these where a bougie teengirl gets knocked up and mysteriously disappears in “thermal cure” with her mother, to come back a few months later “oh yeah turns out mom was pregnant, miracle of life, huh?”. I literally don’t understand how this works in the 1990s though??? Did both sisters go to the maternity and the younger one quickly passed off the baby so the other one would claim she’d just given birth??? Did they stay in Mali for 9 months and everybody was cool with them not coming home for the birth? I have so many questions. BUT. Putting the absurdity aside, I really really like the playfulness and aesthetic (the cluedo, the harpsichord music, the dramatic filming, Morgane’s big reveals and the ppl complaining when her phone goes off at the wrong time, CYRIELLE omfg best look I’ve ever seen on this show and that includes Morgane’s outfits) they pulled in that episode. Also the creepy alcoholic twins who betted on whether their cousin killed her mother or not?? Amazing characters 😂😂

The “little seed” joke. I’m sorry but Morgane messing with Karadec and asking him if he knows where babies come from makes me laugh. That and the genetics back-and-forth of recessive genes vs. nulliparous (I’m surprised that one of them didn’t know the term each time, though, I knew both and I haven’t studied biology since high school 👀)

(Btw idk if it's just me, but I can perfectly see that Rachel might be Josee's first female crush 7w7, in the future maybe)

Hi! Yeah, I'm alive. It's not so much that I'm back fully, but I am getting back into the mojo of updating again. Yeah, Rachel's an interesting character - she definitely plays a bigger role in the story as it goes on, even when she isn't necessarily there she has a lot of impact. And yes... Claude. Claude and Josee's relationship wouldn't be described as awkward, but it's not necessarily healthy. Though it's been emphasized that Josee does like Claude and is attracted to him, she is inexperienced with relationships and assumes that arguing like they do is normal. Jacques' internalized biphobia in this chapter was honestly written from my own perspective, so it got a little personal lol. The difference is Jacques is male and (currently) identifies as gay. This isn't the first time he's had these thoughts, but it certainly won't be the last. But you will have to wait a LONGGG time before anything romantic happens between him and Josee. As for Leo and Liv, yeah, they really are the scum of the story - but they'll get their karma, eventually. We'll just have to wait a bit.

It doesn't matter that aces are just doing it for themselves--when they say sexual orientation is about sex and romantic orientation is about romance, they are redefining bisexuality for ME, a sex repulsed bisexual. They are PERSONALLY sexualizing rape victims and children without consent. It doesn't matter if they're a small group--they are enacting homophobia. SAM positivity is homophobia, particularly biphobia. It is sexualizing without consent, furthering rape culture. Stop it.

And, no, I wasn't usin the SAM by saying "heterosexual asexual." The SAM creates two different orientations (romantic/sexual) and utilizes two different suffixes (-romantic/-sexual) and says one is for romance, one is for sex. "Heterosexual asexual" is saying "My sexual orientation is heterosexual but I do not experience sexual attraction." Sexual orientation includes romantic and sexual attraction w/o the SAM. ACes redefine that wth the SAM. Asexuals, especially cisgender heterosexual asexuals, are absolutely furthering homophobic understandings of homosexuality, bisexuality, and sexual orientation by utilizing the SAM. They are reaffirming homophobic understandings of LGBT identities. They are at odds with LGBT activism. They are hurting a fight bisexuals have been at for DECADES just because they're too pathetic and lazy to say "I am heterosexual and ace."

If a person looks at a bisexual child and goes, “hmm so this child is Sexual” then that’s on them, not on some random sam ace who just happens to personally feel the term biromantic fits them better than bisexual. If the sam ceased to exist homophobes would not stop oversexualizing orientations, because they really don’t care about words.

Sexual orientation means different things and different preferences to different people, some people are fine with being gay or bisexual and calling it a day. But there also those who feel comfortable with more exact terms, and 90% of the time there’s nothing wrong with that. Like there is really nothing inherently wrong or biphobic about pansexual, it’s just a word you feel is more accurate/specific to your attraction, based on the definitions you were given about each, but I bet you don’t like pan either. 

I know bisexual history too and I think I finally understand that your main concern really just centers specifically around the usage of that specific word. I don’t know what to tell you expect that it’s about personal terminology choice. How you define bisexual is your own damn business! there are plenty of bisexuals whose definition of it equates sex with romance and they’re not redefining it for you. Biromantic aces/bisexual aros don’t think “bisexual” equals some ancient biphobic, sex-crazed definition. they do not. they are simply more comfortable with their specific terms. And like I said, biphobes and homophobes do not care. It should not be our responsibilities, that of biromantics or bisexuals or rape victims, to make sure they know the “correct” definitions of our orientations when it comes to sexual vs romantic/emotional attraction. It should not be our responsibilities to constantly police our language so they won’t think they can get away with sexualizing without consent. The responsibility should, I don’t know, fall on the actual homophobes and biphobes to realize that not all bisexual people want the same things, sexual attraction doesn’t even equal consent in the first place, and you don’t rape.

Maybe in the future I will change how id but right now I am more comfortable with the more specific word and it’s not like I haven’t questioned a lot already or put thought into it, unlike what most exclus believe. also, “heteroromantic and ace” and “heterosexual and ace” have pretty much the same amount of letters and words, and from your context they imply the exact same thing, the only difference being minor semantics.
