its crazy how being in a union will remind you that the people above you do not care for you as a person at all and only care about money
#mine#not going to give a lot of details because idk the rules but my bargaining committee is pushing for a lot of things including ADEI training#and the school (in a liberal city...with a liberal reputation...claiming to care about this kind of thing...) literally point blank said no#to that#also they dont want to give student employees bereavement leave they think we can/should just use sick time#also most egregiously i lost my job because the school is underfunded and admin literally does not gaf#like ... ok................ i gave you tuition and my parents also gave you tuition and ive been here for 4 years working my ass off#for this degree and contributing to the learning of everyone on campus via my job and even my work as a student#and you are just going to treat me like dirt on your shoe .... Ok. I See How It Is.#if i ever went to a bargaining meeting i would attack the lawyer with a big stick until he gets a TBI#-_-
