i know jotaro is somewhat based on clint eastwood's characters, but i think he's likely also based on lieutenant columbo (and he makes a reference to the show in the "justice" episode when he's messing with enya -- and he also is extremely columbo-esque in that scene lol -- "(trips enya) oh... y'know... you really shouldn't run with scissors. that could've been bad." fhsjfjdjfj)

the long jacket, the mess of curly/wavy dark hair, broad shoulders, and how he seriously doesn't give two fucks what other people think of his attitude, dress, and lack of manners (ALSO i insist that both characters are autistic).

they're both off-putting and brazen to most people around them, and they have a talent for making their enemies lose their sanity (most notably d'arby, and -- from what i've watched so far -- the bomb guy from columbo who has a very similar meltdown to d'arby).
