Ok now that totk has been out for a bit and recieved much praise and I've completed the main story, it's time for the discussions.
Did anybody else find the sky islands very underwhelming? Because I found them very underwhelming.
#loz totk#tears of the kingdom#ramblings#it's like. they were such a big part of the marketing in this game and hyped up so much#but they're all actually rather boring! surprisingly there just isn't much going on up there#and also basically none of them are unique! they all have a near exact clone/clones somewhere else in the sky#just getting from one island to another can be a pretty annoying task early on#and it's made worse when you finally GET to the island you're aiming for and there just isn't much of anything there#besides some dazzlefruits or something idk#even the most fun islands get repeated! like the skydive ones! and the giant spheres!#just like. the depths are way more fun and interesting than the sky islands#and the depths didn't even get any marketing#okay rant over#also the sky crystal shrines are tedious and not fun in the slightest there I said it
