One thing no one warns you about when you start working in a higher education project is that you'll have to watch not only the staff but also the professors mocking the students all the time for no reason like they're a burden just for existing

#and this is a post-grad program. i wonder how people talk about teenagers in school jesus christ #also the complete lack of empathy for foreign students with reasonable concerns about visa bureaucracy #i swear to fucking god today a coworker called a student whose native language is Spanish #who passed an extremely difficult test in a niche field written in Portuguese to be accepted in the program #a *lazy idiot* because he send us an email in English #which she doesn't speak
