Waverider thoughts!

I guess that my main problem with Waverider is that it is very clearly an attempt at writing a poetic story, but Amulet is not a poetic series.

Don't get me wrong, it could very well be poetic, the ideas and themes are right there, but the other books are not written poetically, or even with a poetic afterthought. The poetic element was extremely out of left-field, and while it was nice, it was just badly built up and kinda out of character.

Also Emily Hayes would not be that emotionally intelligent.
