The Bible fully condones slavery and was used explicitly to justify slavery in america b4 the civil war and when I brought this up to a Christian classmate of mine his rebuttal was "actually the Bible says people can only be held in slavery for 7 years, after that it's against God to keep them enslaved any longer 🤓" oh okay. So white folk didn't mess up by enslaving people they just did it for too long. Would've been fine if they had employed the jesus-approved catch and release method
