When most of Ponyville fled, Cranky went to the one creature he knew he could trust, Steven. Of course Steven was happy to see him, and he was even happier when Crankys friend Kevin, and later their new ally Tree Hugger would come to stay with him as well. Cranky and Steven have made a couple trips out to the edge of ponyville, where they would take any survivors back to their base. Tree Hugger would patch up any wounds they have, then send them to Appleloosa for safety. She said that she couldnt confirm that things were safe, but that there was a "Vibe" of such. Steven trusted that enough that he started going out more frequently. Now faced with two foals who are infected, only one asymptomatic (( that they dont know of )) all that they can hope is that getting them to Appleloosa they can help the filly, and maybe put an end to the colt before hes in too much pain.
