Probably this: “I am a bastard too now, just like him. Oh, it would be so sweet, to see him once again. But of course that could never be.”

For one, it��s one of the few times Sansa thinks of Jon explicitly. But it is soooo tender and bittersweet. And then it’s also GRRM explicitly drawing the reader’s attention to the similarities between Jon and Sansa’s narratives and how Sansa as Alayne is now occupying a position Jon once held. Not to mention that preceding this quote, Sansa thinks that she hasn’t thought of Jon in ages…yet much of her Alayne persona seems to draw from Jon. Drawing the readers mind to Jon at this moment is also interesting because it immediately precedes discussion of Alayne’s betrothed (Harry) and thoughts of previous romantic experiences (if we can call them that) with Tyrion and Sandor. Just following the trend of Jon and Sansa always being close to each other’s suitors…absolutely nothing to be implied in that, no siree. And, because it’s GRRM, it’s impossible not to take the ‘But of course that could never be’ as a bit of a tongue in cheek wink-wink nudge-nudge moment.

Like it’s literally just two sentences but GRRM imbued them with so much power that I think the universe actually shifted.
