anything edible that grew wild in my parents back yard should be free, to me. if i grew up eating it out of the ground and off the bush than i should never have to spend money on it again. what do you mean i gotta pay for rhubarb??? this is weeds!! it grows in the marshy ditch where the water for the washing machine lets out on the hill!!!! in the MUD!!!

#ive talked about the rhubarb one before but i was thinking about RED CURRANTS just now #used to eat em straight off the bush all the time. saw em in the grocery store the other day #i didn’t look at the price bc i knew it would shock and appall me but they gotta be likw $5 a qt or something!!#showing a card at the register that says ‘i ate these in nature as a grubby kid’ and they go ‘oh of course np’ & ring it in as zero dollars #tiny bunch of rhubarb is so expensive too. like whaddya mean it’s seven dollars for four stalks #made me mom give me a bunch last time i was home. shoved em all in the freezer #also that current bush is gone now btw they got rid of it.
