I did not expect them to fail

Like I knew that there were changes to the story from the book but I still expected them to manage to get the bolt to zeus before the solstice

But at the same time it feels in character for neurodivergent kids to be failed/fail in systems not designed to help or uplift them yet still power through in some or whatever way they can.

Percy failed the quest. Him, Annabeth and Grover didn't managed to get out of the Lotus Hotel fast enough, didn't get the bolt fast enough, didn't return fast enough, yet they're still going.

I like that about them, don't stop. Keep going.
