how do you think the myth of the Starlight Express & the Starlight Sequence work in trainsformers? also i lovee this AU so much!!

First of all THANK YOU I'm very glad people are having as much fun with this au as I am!!

For the myth of the Starlight Express I think it would still work fine if it was a story Momma told Rusty/the freight of this Legendary Wise Steam Train (tm) BECAUSE!! It would be incredibly funny to bring Astrotrain into this. I know he's not in TFA in the first place but NOW he is, he came to earth for troop support or something, and in search for alt modes he just so happened to scan a historic engine which happened to be a steamer.

Which leads us to the scenario of this millions of years old triple changer meeting a tiny steam engine with self esteem issues and the latter is like "omg it's him. The Starlight Express (tm). He's real." and AT is just like. What. Who are you.

I dont yet know how the Starlight sequence would work to be honest it could either circle back to Momma or we go the full Astrotrain route and the triple changer warms up to Rusty and is like "hey tiny guy. If someone looks at you wrong you beat the shit out of them, okay?" or similar pep talk
