one of the worst things about having a large family is that the probability of you have an extremely unhinged relation goes up exponentially. I have a lot of family because both of my parents have 8 siblings and 2 of my grandparents had 4 siblings each, and everyone ever had multiple children. Thus, unfortunately I have an unhinged relation. My dad's brother D is a completely unhinged right-winger, tr*mpite, NRA member, evangelical nutjob who causes family drama on purpose constantly. He's one of those really sad people who says unkind, provocative things because he wants to hurt people and anger them, which honestly I find somewhat sad. Actually everyone who is cruel to others for fun is so sad. get help. clearly there's something wrong with you if you find that an acceptable way of behaving and think yourself to be a good person for behaving that way. Thinking about this because D decided to unleash his unhinged behavior at a family funeral last week and I'm honestly still a little steamed about that.

Side note, my dad has a buddy who I spent a lot of time around as a kid because he has kids the same age as my sister and I who has the same name as dad's unhinged brother D and he's my real uncle D actually, because he is a sane, kind, interesting and funny person.
