Audio fans can we try and make a move towards copy-pasting transcripts instead of screenshotting them? Like, if we want to pull up a quote from a podcast in our posts, surely it’s just as easy if not easier to stick the quote down in the text and not as an image? Because that’s entirely erasing the point of the transcript, which is to be something to make it more accessible, and then you’re turning it on it’s head into a whole other form of inaccessibility. If you want you could even screenshot the transcript and then stick the text of it underneath but that kind of clogs up the post and makes it long, but if you’re committed to the transcript aesthetic the option is there. It just feels very ignorant to take something made to make a media more accessible, and then reverse it to make it inaccessible again.
