Might or might not be my last question of the day lol

Loveswap and Sweetswap - are there any differences with them personality wise, is the sibling relationship difference/similar?

(Of course you can add extra stuff if u want, just wanna learn more about them)

Ooh they're very different! The "love" AUs actually were kind of borne of my curiosity abt lustfell, but not really jiving with the whole "heat" thing, while Sweetswap was kind of like a spinoff of Heartfell in that I loved the idea of "lovecore underfell" and wanted to make similar "core" based AUs of Tale and Swap (I have yet to figure out what I want to do for Tale aha)

And while they started as just "aesthetic" AUs (like the Outer and Dance variants, separate AUs but otherwise just following UTs story and the characters being mostly the same), they've also kind of evolved a little more into their own things, too!

Loveswap - follows the same general plot of the Royal scientist trying to find a way to make monsters' souls stronger and unintentionally inflicting them with a strange "condition" that shapes the following years up until the last human falls underground

Sweetswap - a cutecore/pastelcore "aesthetic" AU where the monsters in general are the same but softer, kinder, "happier", and the entire underground takes on a much lighter colour palette with more "cutesy" details

With that being said! Clover and Berry are definitely closer than Honey and Cerulean. Clover is a lot like Stretch but a bit more self conscious and awkward, but tries harder to be kind and pleasant, while Honey is more confident and...well, at least self assured in how good he is at masking lol. They're both kinda like Stretch with the brightness turned up or down by about 15-20% haha, though they still have a similar sense of humor and love of sweets!

Clover would feel sad to know Honey and his brother had sort of fallen out, and Honey would honestly be a bit jealous of Clover in similar ways as Stretch is of Rus </3

The brightness setting example applies pretty well to Berry and Cerulean with Blue, too! Although Cerulean is closer to 30%, he’s honestly nearly a Fell in regards to how paranoid and protective he is, and he'd honestly not really approve of Berry. He'd see him more as someone who doesn't look out for his brother well enough, if how anxious he is all the time is anything to go by. Berry would...likewise not like Cerulean very much. Doesn't like the way he doesn't seem to communicate with his brother at all.

Berry is more sincerely social, and appreciates the close friends he has, while Cerulean just...has too much difficulty trusting others to rely on anyone like that. Although, Berry isn't exactly super open and honest himself, and he and Clover definitely still have similar relationship problems as Stretch and Blue in how hard they try not to burden each other 😔

As for some little extra stuff...the things in sweetswap are like, literally softer, everything, fabric, magic, it almost feels like physical low opacity, if that makes any sense. Chara loves hugging the monsters (once they warm up to it) for this reason <3

The reason I struggle with accepting Honey as LS Papyrus' nickname is because I love the nickname Clove for him, but I'd already nicknamed Clover and became really attached to it, so I've been trying to convince myself to swap their nicknames for like, a year and I just haven't settled on it 😭

Cerulean does kinda relax sometimes. He has a lowkey friendship with Grillby but they don't see each other very often. Honestly he really just needs to chill out. He has legitimate reasons for the Issues but like, he’s also let it go too far.

I love to imagine Lace and Clover would get along really well, but Heartfell Papyrus would feel really weirded out by Honey lol

Part of why Clover feels so Odd One Out is because of his interests in the macabre. He unintentionally has a darker sense of humor and loves stuff like horror and...idk what the term would be, things like Dark Souls and stuff. Intense stuff. Which is...pretty uncommon in his underground. At least publicly. It's also something he and Undyne bonded over!

Berry can also be surprisingly intense, but he hides it a lot better
