keep forgetting to buy gin so I have sparkling elderflower lemonade from the aforementioned trader joe's and my options for mixers are bourbon (perhaps?), wray and nephew (do not want to turn up that much tonight), two different spirits that taste like anise because there is a great darkness within me (arak & absinthe), the ingredients for a Last Word minus the gin (chartreuse, maraschino), various bitters, and St. Germain (I put elderflower in your elderflower so you can elderflower while you elderflower)

#also some kosher marsala that has probs oxidized but I use it mostly to make chicken marsala so it's fine #now. could i still buy gin? yes. consider however it is 95 degrees fahrenheit w/normal DC humidity ie swamp city usa #and the liquor store is not worth driving to in terms of distance but i do not wish to walk there in the weather #actually this and arak might be good. people mix arak with grapefruit a lot
