Her features paled over the reveal of his name and she wondered how to comprehend he was alive. Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, in her company now. No, he was not the infamous man revered in her land and even before she was born hailed as a hero. “You are the man who bested a few Ottomans and lost his life to secure free lands from them?” A man who tortured his enemies and loathed liars? “You are him?”
