Back to the Cold War episode review

I'm in agreeance with everyone else that this is the best episode of season 25 by far. Let's dive in!

I'm still laughing my ass off over Garrison and his boyfriend. Like bruh, it was so funny when Wendy was like "dude, we're a bit concerned with Russia" and Garrison is like "bUt Me bOyfRIned-". Stupidly funny and I love it.

Mackey going ballistic by having bomb drills every five seconds and listening to 80's music was a riot. Matt n Trey definitely threw in all the nostalgia for this episode.

Butters doing dressage! Honestly, very fitting for him and I kinda hope they go back to it every now and again.

Hehehe, we got the split second Stanky look.

Butters' parents putting it into his head that the Russian kid was bad, but Butters tried to help them in the end is honestly so endearing of Butters' character.

Butters horse tho... that was funny cuz I can kinda relate. I used to have a pony that pooped during the worst moments whenever I was competing in a rodeo arena lol, definitely felt Butters being a bit upset and trying to give a pep talk to his horse.

Stephen and Linda are chaotic and I want to punch them as always :)

Mackey warning the government, but his mom having a heart to heart with him honestly spoke volumes and really hit home for me. That speech she gave honestly nearly made me cry. It kinda reminded me of Craig's dad's speech in Tweek x Craig.

Speaking of, Grandma Mackey! Was not expecting her at all and she's easily one of the best parts of the episode.

Putin showing up honestly surprised me, but like there wasn't any crazy jabs at him or anything. But the fact that he agreed with Mackey's speech was like really surprising. Ok, so him dancing to 80s music also made me laugh my ass off-

In all honesty, the way Matt and Trey handled this episode and it's topic with Russian was honestly really clever with how it was portrayed as like remembering the Cold War. Honestly kudos to the duo for making this episode so interesting.

9.5/10, excellent episode and it's now currently holding the title for best episode of season 25 until potentially another episode tops it (we'll see)
