It's my favorite song, but I also enjoy it because of the clinically detached approach to the singer's feelings and relationship (that the song describes). How everything is a process. It's a song about two people who manipulate each other, which isn't exactly fitting for the dynamic in FTF (there's more unhealthy codependency), but I adore the lyrics. These lines reminded me of researcher!Riddle so much:
