my personal thoughts is like

cross: used to masking, constantly overthinking what ppl might mean bcs hes used to being misinterpreted or misreading the situation, often understimulated

dust: very monotone n blunt constantly, takes things at face value, more sensory issues n gets overstimulated easier,,,

my personal headcanon is that both Dust and Cross are autistic, and both just on total opposite sides of the spectrum
