Feel free to ignore this if you don't want to answer but I still think about them a lot and I'm curious - How's Halsin with the two of them? Does he do anything fun? Cuddling in bear form? Bringing salmon as a token of love and devotion?

I was actually just thinking last night about the three of them and how Halsin's relationship with them is so this was fun to wake up to, thank you!!

So Halsin is kind of like a Long Distance Relationship type guy in that he'll be away from the two of them for an extended period of time but meet up with them whenever they reasonably can. He frequently writes letters and sends little gifts that make him think of either of them, or that he's outright made himself. Trinkets or books or what-have-you, with little pressed leaves and flowers, and they always smell like herbs.

They definitely do cuddle in bear form, though Astarion has banned any fuzzy affection from the little house in the Lower City because the first and last time Halsin transformed in there, the whole place smelled like wild animal for a good week and it was near impossible to get the shed fur out of the rugs. It's more fun out in nature when they're sleeping by the campfire anyway.

In general, he's very gentle and openly loving with the both of them when they're all together. He does not shy away from making his affections known, even with Astarion before they get together in an 'official' capacity beyond just being both connected to Yllis (though he's of course respectfully considerate of Astarion's boundaries). He truly just supplies Good Vibes whenever he's around. Big fluffy bear man with his cat-coded partners.
