#the urge to do random shit#i did put my hand in a boiling water bath..... 80°C. was a bit uh hot....#also poured concentrated HCl on my hand to really see if it was that corrosive....#I've... had my fair share of moments.#I know they are horrendous ideas but I can't not do them. it's dangerous af. and one day I'm going to looose my hand or something#I'm the only one in my group that will actually handle 'dangerous chemicals ' . so. they read out the instructions and i do it.#suits me.#todays practicals were with proper dangerous stuff. we had to do it in the fume hood. except i forgot and took mine out#instant regret. when i say- despite having the test tube 0.5#0.5m ish away from my face. in my hand. and the fumes burnt my nose. I'm not joking#it was like sniffing coca cola (was going to say coke but that would've probably got the wrong idea across
