well i did say that first time photographing would not look good
#my very first moon photos also looked like shit so .#not to say theyre the greatest things ever now either#ok so i think my main way to solve this is to look into potential filters specifically for planets?#i swear i saw something like that years ago#i currently only have a moon filter. which i did try with jupiter hwre but it looked even worse#i need a filter that handles that overexposure with jupiter without dimming it as much as my moon filter does#also potentially something that handles the chromatic aberration bc oh my god that is so BAD#so i’m not sure if a jupiter-specific filter would be able to reveal the bands#or if im still not magnified enough#but it looks decently large when im lookong thru the lens with my own eye#so i dont see why not?#so i’m hoping a filter will also reveal the bands otherwise i may also need to get a higher magnification lens#.. which is a lot. so its gonna take me a while. lol 🥲#my moon filter was like only $15 so heres to hoping a jupiter filter is also $15 👍#brot posts#astro posting#photography#<- MY SPECKS OF LIGHT.
