thanks to black book tok i read Demon's Dream and been falling down the Elle Kayson / "urban" Black fiction rabbit hole on Kindle ever since...
#it's giving the 2000s when urban fiction was being sold on street corners in Brooklyn#and the 2010s when you could go into Target and actually find Black fiction that wasn't autobiographical on the shelves#have barely been able to keep up with fanfics and that's saying ALOT#also paid 11.99 for a monthly Kindle subscription and that's also saying a lot#haven't ran through books like this in years#i love it here#also SO many Black authors and i can see so many of my mutuals with stories on these platforms
