auuuuugh just. philipp always coming home to chris is so good !!! sometimes there are thrilling moments when he picks philipp up from the airport and he will KISS philipp’s CHEEK in PUBLIC. bc the us government is watching haha right? righ oh yeah for sure. definitely because the government is watching. mhmm. absolutely he cares so much about the environment but he cares even more about his students and teaching them how to be good stewards of the earth and how to like, care. chris just wants people to care about the planet because he thinks that the natural extension of caring about shit is DOING something about shit i love him... so much dude. like. this is exactly the kind of stuff that i was brought up believing and it means a lot to me !!! sometimes what matters most is appreciating that the earth has sustained us for so long and feeling gratitude for that. sometimes u gotta have a kind of emotional response that recognizes the good parts of the bad. and philipp forgets that a lot and whenever he comes home to chris and sees chris working in the garden he remembers. it’s about all things great AND small wwwwwwww i’m in my Feelings About It actually,,,, sometimes you do really just gotta go stick your hands in the dirt !!! like policy is good, obviously, but sometimes you gotta just go watch something growing and know you helped !!! hold please. i love you so much but i met someone and i want a divorce. and philipp is like you WHAT i already DM’d you about this but this is so fuckin funny. hi babe ! excellent first kiss, yes i am in fact in love with you, we need to get divorced. stellar timing, chris

joey is a hot young environmental ethicist who is whip-smart and very kind and joyful. and VERY much on a government watch list for environmental terrorism i. am in love with him. holy shit. of course he’s on a watchlist and sabotaged logging equipment and had a long conversation with philipp about forest bathing and wants to be a teacher now. he’s so good

philipp is going to go for a long hike in his feelings about it, but he gets it oh fucking. mood. worm. kin. id. same

but chris is like, no, you don’t get it. i have a plan. the plan is that YOU marry joey. and then when i get tenure next year, i’m having it in my contract that they have to hire joey. see this way, you don’t get deported, he gets a job, and i get a new colleague who is super passionate and bright this is absolutely goddamn ridiculous, to the point where it is completely plausible. i’m obsessed

sometimes in the morning, he comes into the kitchen bc chris is experimenting with making his own tea and joey’ll see that good bedhead content from philipp and chris and THEY get to see HIS sleepy morning face  i absolutely love your dedication to the bedhead content. be the bedhead content you want to see in the world. im totally imagining him in the garden with chris in a bandana like in recent pictures of his curls preparing for games. lil sweaty curls escaping from his bandana which he maybe made by recycling an old plaid shirt of philipp’s. lil dirt smudges on his face. he finds a teeny tiny baby banana slug and is just, ridiculously excited about it and the other two find it very endearing

jared mccann is an admin in the provost’s office and finds all of this out and immediately drags his boyfriend out for coffee to tell him. his boyfriend is jamie oleksiak who teaches creative nonfiction and an environmental writing class in the environmental studies program that joey and chris are part of. he can’t look at joey or philipp or chris in the eye for like two weeks because he’s so embarrassed  i yelled about the jamie bit already but i love the idea of canner watching all of this happen and IMMEDIATELY going like. im going to help facilitate this but first i absoLUTELY need to tell jamie about it come here babe i have gossip
