just saw someone on youtube show what happens if you betray astarion in the beginning and tell that gur he is the vampire he is looking for and i haven’t stopped crying. even if you end up defeating cazador anyways astarion will have already died at this point (either cazador killed him or the gur) and his zombie will be partaking in the ritual. and when you kill cazador astarion’s zombie will be destroyed alongside it and i just….he really died without a single person in the world caring for him and after finally being free for the first time in 200 years he was betrayed by the first person he opened up to about being a vampire and dare i say even trusted (depends how you play before) at least a little (and if you let him suck your blood before and extend kindness towards him and understanding towards his condition just imagine how much more that would have hit him)
