#ok i just watched raya here are my thoughts on it because im a bitch who loves to ramble#cw for spoilers!!!!#first of all: sword lesbians?? in my salad???? more likely that what you think 😳#also namaari my absolute wife i would literally die for her#disney specifically targeted me with her design and i fell for it like the dumb wlw i am#namaari's redeemption arc could have been a little bit better? maybe show her mom being toxic a bit earlier/more in depth#some people said it was too fast but for a film's length i think it was good#ofc no one will ever come close to zuko's redeemption arc but thats okay 😔#anyway @ namaari im 💕❤💕💕❤💕❤💕#when namaari receives the gift from sisu i was literally in tears she's so cute and pretty i lomve her so much 😭😭😭😭#also speaking of sisu i was really surprised!! i expected her to be a bland and boring animal companion but she was very fun!#also her voice?? i expected it to be more feminine and high-pitched but im glad they didnt go for that route bcs her voice is just ❤💕❤💕#the plot was v average i guess#the theme of trust didn't impress me either idk i don't feel like it was very touching? meh :/#the ending made me kinda emo not gonna lie 🥺 namaari being the one to put the pieces together and her crying at the end........#and everyone being reunited w their loved ones........ i 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭#the style was super ugly tho#the environement is like hyper realistic but the characters look like plastic dolls#but i already knew that the animation would disappoint me before hand so im not surprised just disappointed#also needless to say i was upset at how human sisu looked super unique but her dragon version was just furry elsa#the bg characters are v diverse and we get a butch looking character but then dragon sisu and raya are just average :/#also no canon lesbians#also sisu should have been non binary#i mean it's disney so i dont know what i was expecting but i love complaining anyway ✨#despite everything it was a nice watch!! i recommend other to watch it as well if they can ~#ofc dont give disney a single penny i found it online on theaterxx1 so there you go#m#raya and the last dragon
